Ideal Group Interns

Today was a swell day. I started by coming to Ideal a little earlier than usual. First thing I did was to start on the billing for Ideal Setech, which took me all morning. When I finished billing the mail arrived and I got started by sorting the mail by where it’s supposed to go.   When lunch came I had to work on my math since I was having trouble but thanks to Sean I was able to understand everything again. Then, Amanda brought me lunch and we talked about a few things that are coming up and school related issues. After lunch, I went back to work filed for a while and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today at Ideal was pretty good. At the beginning of my day I started to do a mailer contact list for Catherine. That was pretty much my morning. At lunch I ate some hot pockets and tried to get some of my homework done for tomorrow. Amanda assisted me with my history which was very helpful. After lunch I finished doing the mailers Catherine assigned me. When I finished doing the mailers I stamped them and had them to be sent out. When I was finished with that task me and Sylvia talked about school and how I was doing to make sure my grades stay up. All in all my day was good.

                           Today was a good day at the office. My original computer wasn't working so I used the computer next to Doug and behind Catherine. In the morning Sylvia told me to bind some presentations for a company named PCG. I made one copy first to see if the printer was working. It was working so I made four more copies. Once they were printed out I had to bind them and make them nice. Then I made some thank you letters for the sponsors of Cadillac Urban Gardens. I started with it but I had writers block. I could not think of anything to say so I went to my next task which was to write my experiences on Scarcyny Park. After that Sylvia asked me if I wanted to go out and eat lunch with her and some other co-workers. We went to a restaurant named "Oblivion". They had some really good burgers and I learned that by eating one. We came back to the office and I was given some tasks by Sylvia. I finished those and the rest of my day was occupied by little tasks

     Today was my first day back at Ideal after the Thanksgiving break. It was nice seeing everyone again. Had a lot of things to do today at work like mail, do waivers, and file.       Well, during my break I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and we had a good time. The Next day in the morning I went to the black Friday specials, I am not that crazy to go at midnight. After that I just stayed home and enjoyed my days off, and of course did homework.     Today at Ideal was a busy day for me. I started to help Chelsea on folders and helping her mail checks, after mailing them I had to file the folders. When I was finished Chelsea gave me invoices that had check attached to them. I had to mail them out too and filed the invoices. Lunch came and they brought Jets pizza. Danny saw me and told me to go to his offices and eat with him. We talked about how he can help me to do well in my grades and to start doing good in school. After we finished talking Chelsea had me stamp and m

Today was my first day back at Ideal after the Thanksgiving break. During the break I had a great time. I stayed home most days, and I ate a lot of food. After, Thanksgiving, I stayed up all night to go to black Friday specials and see if anything was worth the waiting in line. Then, I went home got started on my homework and before I knew it, it was time for work.   At work I did the usual, I worked on the billing all day and filed for a while. I then went to lunch and had some cookies. I also watched a game on my phone. Afterwards, I went to do the mail and since it was Monday there was a lot to do. When the mail was done I went back to file and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today was productive day. I came in at Ideal and asked if there was any work I could do. David and I started to do waivers and putting in job numbers and all the information. When we were done Chelsea had fax waivers and some that I had to scan them for her, it took me the whole morning to do them all. Lunch came and they brought Mr. Pita, which I really enjoyed. Lunch was over and I started to do my Latin and Biology homework. When I was done I helped Chelsea to separate checks from the invoices, it took me a while. After that, I had to find PDPM and hard dollars folders and attached them to the invoices. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a very productive day, I not only get my work done but I learned a few things too. I started out by talking to Amanda about my grades and how I was doing in school. After that, I proceeded to my desk where I began to work on the weeks billing. The billing took me a while to finish since there was more than usual. In the middle of my work Frank pulled me aside and gave me a lecture on how I should step my game up to show that I really care about my future and I now have a lot to think about. Then, lunch came and I had a pizza and it tasted great. When lunch was over, I went back to work and that was my day. When I left I went to school to pick up my turkey. JOSE PEREZ

Today at Ideal was a pretty good day. Catherine wasn't here today so Doug and I took over the marketing department. First, Doug wanted me to look through some magazines to see if we can distribute to anybody or if  I see our products. When I finished Doug had me go and look for main distributors in Alabama and Georgia for Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Toyota, and Honda. After that I talked to Frank and Sylvia about school. Then I had lunch. I ate some pizza. A little bit after lunch Osmara came and gave me some advice about school and how she could help me with some of my work. Then she helped me figure out how to do a mailer for a contact list. After that I sent out all the mailers, that was my day. MB

The halls of Ideal were very good today. I first started with a job with my computer. The only problem was that my computer wasn’t starting up! How was I going to do my work? How was I going to succeed in this corporate world? My chances of going to the top were completely ruined. Then I was moved to Catherine's desk and I continued my work. By lunch time Sylvia had told me that we were going out to eat because of a special event. The event dealt with Latina Pride as I would call it. It was nice and we returned at about 2:00pm. The rest of the day went by fast and here I’m writing my blog just about ready to go. This was an awesome day at Ideal. -Chris

Today was a good day. I started by helping Patti putting papers in a folder, it was a easy work. When I finished I asked Chelsea if she had something for me to do, she handed me checks and wanted me to mail them and file the invoices. When I was done I asked Sara if she had something for me to do and she had me separate certificates, it was a big pile so it took me some time. Later, Julie and I were talking about my grades. She asked me what my plan was to get better grades, I told her to study more, do homework, and bust my butt on the classes that I’m having problems with. Lunch came and I ate a Pop Tart since I wasn't hungry. When my lunch was over, Terry made me order reciepts from Home Depot by job numbers, and made me put copy papers in the cabinet. When I finished I went to do my Latin homework. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a typical day at the office. First I entered and set up my computer. I then was told by Sylvia that I was going to make some more labels. I had already known how to print labels so I wasn't nervous. After I had made Labels I was asked to bind some Power Point presentations. So I printed out the presentations and made my way to the binding machine. I had also knew how to bind so this was an easy job for me. I was in the middle of binding when I noticed the time. It was 12:00! I had not realized how fast the day had already gone by. So I put down my things and took a lunch break. As I went to the office Sylvia asked me if I wanted to have lunch together. I gladly accepted and was of to eat. While Sylvia and I were eating we talked about interesting topics such as work or recent books we might have read. The rest of the day I did some basic tasks on the computer and finished my day nicely. This was another good day. - Chris

Today was a very productive day it started out like any other day by grabbing a cup of coffee. After, I started on my weekly billing for Ideal Setech which took most of my morning. Then I went to talk to Amanda about my grades and she was happy to hear that I was doing a well. We also talked about what I should do for the next semester to improve my grades. Afterwards, lunch came but I had to wait a little longer then usual since Linzie was bring it to me. I had a burger and fries which were gone in less than five minutes, I also listened to music. After lunch was over, I started to file and help out Sylvia. Now, I have to get ready for my game. Jose Perez :)

Today was a very good day at Ideal. At the beginning of my day I helped Catherine by making some labels for a Nissan dealership mailer. After that I went through contacts that looked at the fast food eblast we sent out for any good "leads". Then Catherine and I went to go pick up lunch. I had a bacon cheeseburger and I forgot what Catherine had but I'm sure she made a good healthy choice. After my lunch I sent out about 100 mailers to the potential Nissan customers! Then I made another contact list for a Shield sales manager. That was my day! P.S. I'm going to miss Cat-attack next week because I learn a lot from her every time I'm here. MB

Today was a great day. I came to Ideal with a good attitude . I asked everybody if they had something for me to do. Maria didn’t have anything for me to do so I asked Rana and she didn't have anything either. I waited patiently in my desk. Later, Chelsea had me match up invoices with the correct folders that they had. Lunch came and Chelsea and I went to Roman Village , which I enjoyed. We went to work and Chelsea made me check the amount of the checks so everything could be correct and had no mistakes. When it was all done I finally put them in an envelope and mailed them out. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a good day. I came to Ideal and since Linda wasn't here I had to ask anybody from upstairs if they had something for me to do. I asked Maria and she had me match the shippers to the invoices. When I was done I asked Chelsea and she had me put the invoices to the checks, it took me the whole morning to do them. Lunch came and I stayed at Ideal. Since Julie was going to lunch I asked her to bring me something to eat. When I was finished with my lunch I went to www.Mustpuresafety.com and watched what Bob needed me to watch. Overall my day went great. JP

Today was very cold and windy, but it was still a great day. It took longer to get to Ideal Group since I had a different route this morning. I got to Ideal an hour later than usual, I went to go do the billing for Setech but found out there wasn’t any. So I started filing. I filed for the rest of my morning and then went to lunch. At lunch, I had a great time playing Clue with my coworkers, and I even won a game. Then, I went back to work and did the mail. Since there wasn’t that much, I finished easily, and I went to voucher. Overall, my day went well and can’t wait for my game later. JOSE PEREZ J

Today at Ideal Group headquarters was a great day. At the start of my day I sent out some postcards for Catherine, then I went through some magazines to see if our company or companies like ours were in them or not for advertising and distributor opportunities. After that, I looked up to see where Meijer and CVS distribution locations were so she can possible call them and see if they were interested in having our products. After that I ate lunch, Red Barron's pizza,  then I worked on a project for Ideal Surplus Sales; Gary wanted me to update a shipping contact list. And that was my day. MB
