Today went pretty good. I started to file PDPM and hard dollar folders. Once I was done I scanned business cards for Bob that he gave me last Friday. There were a lot of cards so I knew it was going to take me the whole day to finished or finished half of it. Bonnie wanted to send out invoices and file before I was out today, so I put the cards aside for a while and started as soon as possible with the invoices. Lunch came and I had some Arabic food, I don’t remember what it was called, but I think I know is that it was delicious. Once I was done with lunch I went to Loren’s office and we were talking about school and work, it was good talk after all. I started to do the mail since Katie wasn’t here, once I was done I continued doing the cards for Bob. Overall my day was great. Jose Patino
Today’s job was simple and clear- cycle counting. It’s the world’s most interesting task, but also the most tedious. It consists of taking inventory of the tools and parts that are in lots in what we call the cage. The cage is a small room in the shop that stores a great amount of surplus material for Ideal Surplus. There are as many boxes as there are fish in a lake, so this project will be running for a bit of time. Sometimes I double and triple check because I felt that I messed up or remembered the wrong number to look up. Many times, the part in the box isn’t on the list, so you have to take it out of the lot and put it to the side; however, if that part was on the list and it was human error when looking up the number, it can have serious proble...
Christian Perales December 15, 2015 The Ideal Group As the year comes close to an end many people tend to think of all the things they have done in the year, whether it be a wonderful blessing or a hard time. As the season should be filled with joy, the topic for this post will be about one blessing that will lead to many more in my future. The one of the major blessing I have had this year is my internship with Ideal Group. On the first day of work at Ideal, Osmara gave me a tour because I didn’t really know my way around the building at first. As the year progressed, I learned my way around, met many people and had to try and remember their names, even if I had to ask a couple times to clarify. I was able to learn many things from others as my responsibilities grew. Many people do not have the opportunities I have as an Ideal Intern and for ...
