                Today’s tasks improved my knowledge of the work I’m doing at Ideal. Many of the tasks have been repetitive, and other than using the skill of memorization, a steady routine was being incorporated into my internship.

                The past couple of work days have shown me that a steady routine is going to be necessary completing my tasks for the day. To begin, I come and ask if there are any special tasks that should be completed. After, I file some paperwork that is on a rack on top of the cabinets. Then, I file some more paperwork for Chelsea, and I match shippers to invoices. Finally, I filed hard-dollar folders or any other types of paperwork for Maria.


                These tasks are always present in my work days for the Contracting side of Ideal, so if I put them into a set routine for the day, then my day goes much smoother.

Once I got to Ideal, I started to go to Steve and I grabbed a handful of Invoices which took me a while to do. After that Steve sent me some Picking sheets and it took me about a hour. Then Melanie gave me some Picking sheets to arrange also, after arranging I can put the numbers into Sugar and after finishing those I can put them in a separate room in case we ever need them.

Today was a busy/productive day. I started the morning by checking lots of papers and also checking if Alex had signed all of them so I can be able to file them. If Alex had not signed them, I had to give them to her. Afterwards, I had to file all the papers in the correct folders. After filing all of the papers, I had to put white out on some names that were on folders so Yuli can reuse them for something new. The rest of the day I was filling out birthday cards for October so they can be mailed. Last I took some of the cards and sealed them so they can be mailed.

Today I worked on the board making a Winter Memories for the Ideal works to put pictures of  their winter memories. I only worked on scans since Steve has a big stack of  scans that need to be done. Today was a pretty relaxed and productive day. I completed about 300 scans.
