Friday going to LTU

Today was not a typical day for me at Ideal. I actually started my day by visiting LTU instead of coming into work for a hands on course. I got to work hands on with the things that I wanted to do like designing and other activates that were related to what I wanted to do. I visited the Mechanical Engineering department which is my first choice as a carrier. After learning so much about we got to have some real fun and looked at the Baja car and drive it up a ramp.

                After all the learning we had a small lunch and I ate some very good pizza. After a while, Amanda picked me up which by the way was very nice of her and we went to get gas. When I came back to work I had to go right into a meeting with Sylvia and some of the neighborhood police officers. It was really nice to speak to the people that kept the community safe.

                I had a lot to say in the meeting and talked about some of the problems that we had and somethings that may help in the future. The officers were very helpful and had a lot of great ideas towards making the neighborhood a better place. Overall my day went great and I had a lot of fun and learned a lot.

Once I got to Ideal, I started to go to Steve and I grabbed a handful of Invoices which took me a while to do. After that Steve sent me some Picking sheets and it took me about a hour. Then Melanie gave me some Picking sheets to arrange also, after arranging I can put the numbers into Sugar and after finishing those I can put them in a separate room in case we ever need them.

Today was a busy/productive day. I started the morning by checking lots of papers and also checking if Alex had signed all of them so I can be able to file them. If Alex had not signed them, I had to give them to her. Afterwards, I had to file all the papers in the correct folders. After filing all of the papers, I had to put white out on some names that were on folders so Yuli can reuse them for something new. The rest of the day I was filling out birthday cards for October so they can be mailed. Last I took some of the cards and sealed them so they can be mailed.

Today I worked on the board making a Winter Memories for the Ideal works to put pictures of  their winter memories. I only worked on scans since Steve has a big stack of  scans that need to be done. Today was a pretty relaxed and productive day. I completed about 300 scans.
