Ideal Group Interns

 Today was an good but sad day. I started my day making a budget spreadsheet. Then, I continued on with scans. After, the teachers had a meeting about the COVID situation and we are told we are staying home for the lock down. So, we might not get to go to work until this is over. I was kind of expecting us to go to fully online, I just don't think it is going to be an easy.  Overall, I am just thank full everyone is healthy and we are taking the right precautions.  

  My Weekly Blog    Today was an okay day. I started my day off by continuing on an excel list spreadsheet which was Chicagoland. Overall, my day went great.

 Today I only worked on scanning papers all day. It was a hard process but I managed to pull it off. Today was a busy work day for me. I kind of managed to do most of the scans and I am proud. 

Today in the morning I worked on scans. After lunch I worked on more scans and almost finished all of them. Overall today was great and went by pretty fast. 

 Today was a pretty easy day, I started off emailing a mailing list to Osmara. I then worked on the post card mailers from last week. Lastly, I worked on preparing work for Jose and Daniel. Overall it was an easy day!

This week was a pretty exciting week because I was able to come back to the office. This had been my first time back since March! I started off my day doing scans, then I  prepared scans for the other interns. After that, I called magazine companies to get updates on our subscription statues. I laminated posters and made survey copies for the entrance. Towards the end of the day I worked and sent out mailers. On Friday, I worked on making mailers, putting on address labels and sending out mailers/post cards. Overall, it was a pretty good week because I accomplished the goal I set for myself. 

Today I worked primarily on mailers. This was a different job then what I usually do but I got the hang of it quickly. I did not get to finish all of the lists but hopefully next week I can complete them all. Overall today was great and I got to practice something new.

I began my day by downloading scans from the printer and uploading them to the filing application. I completed a few sets and after lunch I finished them. Today was an average day and it went by pretty fast.

  My Weekly Blog  Today was a good day. I started my day off by updating Mr. Venegas Excel  spreadsheet later on I was told to make a spreadsheet about the whippet wipeout which they are helping to ban whippet to protect other people from it because it causes a lot of health problems. Overall my day went great.

  Eric Perez  Today I worked on one assignment. Today I worked on filing scanned papers and file them in the system with the help of the filing app. 

 Today was a good day. I started off working on scans the whole morning. I then revised the Ideal Interns schedule for next month. After I went though and updated an Ideal safety PowerPoint. Overall today was easy. 

 I worked on two things today. In the morning I filled out a spreadsheet of companies in Illinois. I took my lunch break and then began doing scans. I finished a few sets of scans and almost completed all of them. On Friday I will finish the ones I could not get to among other work. I'd say today went by smoothly.

  My Weekly Blog Today was a great day. I started my day off my continuing on Mr. Venegas Amazon spreadsheet after I finish I was told to continue to do the ACE spreadsheet. Overall my day went great.

  Today I worked on two assignments. First, I worked on scans that Osmara sent me. I worked with it for like most of the day. Then, I started working on an Excel list of companies in IL. 

  My Weekly Blog  Today was and amazing. I started off my day by continuing on a  excel sheet and I was told to update Mr. Venegas Amazon excel list which there was a lot to do. Overall my day went great.

 Today was a busy work day. The only assignment that I had today was scans. The filing app was a good tool to use to do the scans. Overall, today was a good and productive work day at Detroit Cristo Rey High School. 

Today I completed a few sets of scans. They consisted mostly of picketing sheets, work orders, and proof of deliveries. It was a calm day and it went by pretty fast.

 Today I started working on the excel spreadsheet from last week. I completed the spreadsheet before my lunch break. Once I came back and worked on scans. Overall today was a easy day!

 This week I worked on an excel spreadsheet, scans, and a community flyer. In the beginning I didn't finish a lot since the excel spreadsheet was kind of complicated. I had to readjust from the normal way of doing it, but I got used to it. I ended up getting the hang of it and finishing a big part of it. I completed the community flyer for the fall festival. I also completed all the scans. Overall, this was a easy week and I made great progress. ;)

In the morning I worked on filling out mailers. I just filled out an excel spreadsheet with data about a company.  I did this until 12 and took my lunch break. After lunch I completed 3 sets of scans throughout the afternoon. Today went by faster and I felt productive.

  My Weekly Blog Today was a great day. I started my day off by continuing on the excel list of ACE Hardware. Later on me and Eric Perez switch tasks; I did scans later on. Overall my day went by good.

  Today I started working on scans with the help of the filing application. Later, I worked with Daniel Hernandez Guzman to work in an excel lists about ACE locations in the United States.  

 Today I did a few scans. What I do is take work order or sheet scans and input the work order number into an application. Although I did not get to file many sheets today I look forward to coming back next week. I felt today was a bit sluggish and boring.

  My Weekly Blog Today was a great day and a little slow. I started my day off by doing an excel list; in the excel list I had to write the company's name, address, city, state, and zip-code, the name of the company was ACE the helpful place. This company is about neighborhood needs such as lawn, garden, paint anything that you need for your house. Later on Eric Perez help me with the list as well.

  Today it was a good day. I begin to work with scans until lunch time. Later on, I worked with Daniel Hernandez with a Excel list about ACE stores locations, which it was a challenging thing to do.

 Today was a pretty easy day. I mostly did scans. I ran into a couple problems but Steve was quick to help! Overall today went by fast.

Today I did the same thing as last time. I began by finishing filing that I was not able to finish and then did some more filing. I did finish my filing today, though.  I think today was laid back and I felt relaxed.

Today I received more scans to file. This took me the entire day and I unfortunately did not get to finish them all. I felt like today was overall more laid back and productive. 

  My Weekly Blog Today was a good day. I started my day off by updating the the ," Safety Meeting," then me and Eric did scans. Later on Osmara Zarate told me to update Mr. Venegas Amazon spreadsheet. In order for me to get in the spreadsheet I had to call Awecomm so I can get into the Admins network; once I had access I log in and start updating the spread sheet. Overall my day was good.

  Today I worked on scans and listened to a podcast where Jesse Venegas appeared, which Osmara Zarate told us to listen too. In the end, I was given another task that was to take the staples from the documents that Osmara Zarate brought and that will pick up tomorrow, but I did not finish because there were a lot of them. 

 Today I continued working on scans from last week. I then worked on a community flyer for an event in October. Overall today was a quick easy day!

  My Weekly Blog Today was a great day. Me and Eric do help with GM cares week bags; we filled up the bag with treats. We also did scans, me and Eric took turns on doing scans and filing the bags up. It was fun at the end to be working.

Eric Perez Today I began in doing some scans in the morning. Osmara Zarate came to Detroit Cristo Rey with some snacks and bag, which were for the companies for GM Cares Week. In addition, Daniel Hernandez and I had to put snacks on the bags, which it had to be ninety-five of them. We accomplished to finish all task before Osmara Zarate came to the building again at 2:00 pm.    

Today I was given a few sets of scans to file. Some of the sets were already uploaded to the share point so I had to be careful about that. I think I got the hang of the filing app now after a week. Hopefully next week I will be able to complete the sets more efficiently. I took a lunch break around 12 and then kept working on scans. Overall it was a quiet and uneventful day. 

 Today was my first work day of my senior year. I started off meeting with Osmara, so she could assist me as I got started. I then started working on the scans that she would be sending me. Overall, today was a good day, but it was just a little weird since I wasn't in the office.

 Today I returned to work at Ideal Group. I was really excited to start working again. My goals this year are to learn how to do new things, complete my time cards, and complete my work on time. Osmara gave me a description of what I was going to be doing today. I was given 7 sets of scans to file today for shield. What I had to do was download the scans from an email and upload them to a filing app where I would type the work number. The process went smoothly and I managed to complete them all before the day ended. Overall I think today was great and I am excited for next week.

 Daniel Weekly Blog First of all I am back people! I am so glad to be here again. Today was a great day; I started of by doing scans today which me and Eric Perez finished on the file; later we were told to correct the mistakes in the slides; after we finish the slides we did a mission and vision statement. Overall I was super excited to work again at Ideal Group.

   Eric Perez  Today was my first day of work. I worked with Daniel Hernandez at Detroit Cristo Rey High School. Osmara Zarate came to the school and gave us the assignments that we had to finish today. She helped us to get prepared for this new year working with Ideal Group. This year is a little different because we are working from school and not there. In addition, today was a good day to get started to work for Ideal Group again. Lastly, I hope this year is a good year for all of us!!!

 Today was relatively slow. In the morning I helped the steel guys downstairs with scanning and organizing invoices. I also wrote the check numbers for new invoices which were also organized and scanned. After that I filed papers on the second floor until lunch. After lunch I returned to filing papers and, after finishing a few stacks, I moved on to filing checks. I began organizing the two piles numerically but had to go. Tomorrow I should finish organizing and began filing them among other things.

Today I completed two tasks while I was here. First, I mailed some invoices that were from the Ideal Shield company to other companies/departments in the United States of America. Then, I did more than three hundred scans today that needed to be filed in the system for people to look afterwards whenever they need. 

Today I prepared Ideal Shield folders with many different cut sheets. As I prepared the envelopes, I would need to print more sheets depending on which type would run out. I then prepared envelopes to be sent out. Overall I mainly sent out and prepared mailers.

Today was a pretty easy day. I ordered fruit as soon as I came in, I worked on making flyers for the upcoming Family Fun Days, and I also filed a few receipts that needed yo be filed. Today I went to the grand opening of the new science lab at Holy redeemer. Overall, today was a good day.

 My Weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was great. I started off my day updating Frank Venegas Amazon list. Later on I helped Pat Wells make more space in the cabinets which was a bit of a challenge because we had to take stuff out and figure out how to make more space by using the same items we got out. In the afternoon Sylvia Gucken invited me to go with her to the ice cream employee appreciation day to talk to people and get to know them better. After the employee appreciation I did to excels for Alex Santori which I finish.  

 Today went by relatively quickly. In the morning I looked through the most recent revisions in drawings and printed them. I then numerically set them inside a stapled set with old drawings which were to be voided. After that I went downstairs and used Sage to find the check numbers for invoices and scan them. I also folded and labeled a set of drawings then I scanned papers. Later on I went to a meeting where Mr. Venegas explained more about the company that I did not previously know. It was around 40 minutes and lunch was provided. In the afternoon I filed invoices and completed basic training for Microsoft teams.

Today have accomplished two tasks that were given to me. First, I mailed some invoices for Steve Snyder from the Ideal Shield company. Later and for the rest of the day I did around three hundred scans in total for people to see after when they need it.

As soon as I came in to work I ordered fruit for building A. Today I worked on an excel worksheet that was made for employees who want to have lunch and learn with Frank. I also helped Osmara with a few emails and for the rest of the day I worked on mailing out invoices and filing scans. Overall, today was a pretty decent day.

 In the morning I was tasked with folding some drawings for the steel guys downstairs and scanning papers. I also used Sage to find the check number for invoices and write them down on the invoice along with the date. After scanning those I went upstairs where I began to file papers. I worked on filing for the rest of the afternoon. Today was pretty slow but still fun.

Today I mainly stuffed and mailed envelopes. I mailed over 1,000 envelopes to businesses that are going to attend a trade show. I lastly laminated posters for Alex.

Today was a productive day. In the morning I ordered fruit and after that I went to Kyle to get some invoices and scans. As the fruit came in I dispersed them between admin, shield and contracting. The scans took me all the way to the end of my day.

Today in the morning I went through quotes in a job and made sure they were accessible. I wrote down the ones that displayed errors then showed them to Carl who showed me how to fix the issue. After that I scanned some papers, labeled drawings, and filed invoices. Today went by relatively quickly and I had fun.

Today was good day at Ideal. First, I started in doing some scans. I did around two hundred scans that needed to be filed in the system for people to look after. This will give people to see the document electronically. Then I mailed some invoices from the Ideal Shield Company.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal group was a very great day. I started my morning by typing in receipts in the amex excel sheet. Later on I translated a paper from Holy Redeemer into Spanish which I loved to do; the paper was about the school being Eco-Green. I also translated instructions in Spanish for cleaning areas. Once I was finish translating I made myself a resume which was a bit stressful but I'm so glad I was told to do this so it could help me in the future and I give the thanks to Osmara Zarate.

Today was a normal day for me. I started off preparing envelopes with labels, I continued on working on the excel sheet from last week, and I sent out mailers. Overall my day went by fast.

Today I mostly worked with the steel guys downstairs. I folded 4 sets of drawings and labeled them. I wrote down check numbers for some invoices and then scanned them. I also scanned different invoices. After lunch I filed invoices into folders upstairs.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was a slow day. I started my day updating Mr. Venegas excel list, and creating a second worksheet for protections that Mr. Venegas bought for the products he bought. Later on I helped Carl Okalski  organize drawings of the work that he and other company's have been working on.  

Today in the Ideal Group I did two things today. First I mailed some invoices for Steve Snyder. Then for the rest of the day I more than three hundred scans that needed to file in the system. :) 

As usual, I came in and ordered fruit for building A. Today I helped out Osmara with clearing out the Safety Meetings folder. There was a lot of papers that needed to be scanned in and I also had to put the papers with their right month because they were all mixed up. It was a lot of work but I managed to scan the missing papers in and organize the 2019 papers. I recycled the papers from past years and it's plural because there was a few papers from 2014/ 2015 in that folder that needed to be scanned in. Today I also worked on my resume for my binder of success. Overall, today was a productive day.

Today was a really busy day since I just got back from my vacation. There was lots of filing for me to do which is what I worked on mostly all morning and some of the afternoon. In the morning I filed invoices that had been piling up. After my break I worked on creating new folders both for employees and bi-weekly employees. and the rest of the day filing in Jasmine and Yesi's room.

My first task was to make sure there were 20 jerseys for the hockey team. After that I scanned invoices for the steel guys downstairs and wrote down the check numbers on invoices using Sage. I also scanned those papers. I then went upstairs and stapled a drawing set for Jeff. I worked on the invoice log spreadsheet the entire afternoon.

My Weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was a great day. I began my day by typing in the receipts that Osmara Zarate gave me. Later on I did some organizing with Sylvia Gucken folders. I updated Frank Venegas excel list.  

Today in Ideal I did a lot of work but I was only one task. The thing is that I did is scanning over than four hundred today with the filing app that makes it more easy and faster to work with. 

Today I started my day by asking Ava for help, because my computer was not working. Once I got into it, I started working on a new mailing list on Excel. I took a break and sent out customized mailers. I then went with Pat and Osmara to get lunch . Lastly, I continued to work on the Excel mailing list.

Today was a pretty relaxed but productive day. As usual I ordered fruit and distributed it to admin, shield's main area, and contracting. When I finished Steve gave me invoices to work on which took me to the end of the day.

When I arrived today I went down to the steel guys and scanned papers for them. I also used to Sage to find the invoice number and date for some invoices. I went upstairs where I was tasked with going through files and taking out the 2020 ones. After lunch I finished this and started to put the 2019 files into Iron Mountain boxes. I wrote down the vendor on a sheet of paper then rubber banded the vendor pile together. I felt good about today and look forward to coming back next week.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was a great day. I started my morning by updating Mr. Venegas excel list;I had to print out the amount he spent on the items. Later on I helped Alex Santori  with an excel list. I helped Sylvia Gucken with her receipts by checking the list that Pat Wells needed. I helped Osmara Zarate set up a meeting for the Venegas's.  

Today I worked on three assignments. I started on mailing some invoices from the Ideal Shield company that were going to be sent to others companies. Then after that, I did more than two hundred scans with the filing application that makes it faster. Later at the end of the day I helped Alex with putting flyers around building A.  

Today I mainly worked on excel mailing spreadsheets. I finished a list from last week, witch included more than 600 addresses. I took a break of the spreadsheets, and laminated posters. Afterwards started on another worksheet.

Today was a pretty good and productive day. I ordered fruit as I do every Monday, I put on the white board the Clark Street Classic that's coming up, and for the rest of the I worked on  big stack of scans. Osmara also took me and Pat to lunch at Mercury Burger. I really enjoyed it because I got to spend time with them out of the office.

Today I worked on the board making a Winter Memories for the Ideal works to put pictures of  their winter memories. I only worked on scans since Steve has a big stack of  scans that need to be done. Today was a pretty relaxed and productive day. I completed about 300 scans.

When I arrived I was given the task of going through folders and ensuring the drawings in them were the latest revision. I deleted 2 older version of the same drawings in the latest revision folder since they were an older revision. After that I created an Excel spreadsheet for grating quotes. I was sent a list of grating quotes to put in the correct place. After lunch I finished that and was tasked finding out the cost per square foot. I did this by multiplying the length by the width of the pieces and dividing that into the price. I filled out some of the pages but did not finish and I will probably finish it next week. I was excited to work on something new and am excited to continue working here.

Today I worked on two tasks here in Ideal. The first task I did was mailing out some invoices that Steve gave me to do first thing when I came in. Then I did more than three hundred scans that needed to be filed in the system for people to look for the document afterwards. I also went to see how Mr. Venegas gave some words for the program in Detroit Mercy called "Dual Enrollment" that he started and stills supports it because he wants everyone to have that college experience while students are still in high school.                                        

Today I continued working on the excel mailing list from last week. I then cut out cards for Alex. The first set of cards were Ideal Shield business cards, and second set were informational cards for the The Kiefer Foundation. Overall today my day went by pretty quick. 

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was great!. I updated Mr. Venegas Amazon list on the excel sheet. Later I helped Osmara Zarate laminate Emergency Plans; then I hung them around the building. Later I went to Carl Okalski to update all the drawings for the vendors. Once I was done with Carl Okalski I refunded a pair of glasses from Amazon. 

This week I worked on mailing lists. First I sent 2 lists of mailers. I then started putting papers in envelopes for the next list. Lastly this week I created an excel sheet with a new list of mailing addresses.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was a great day. First thing in the morning I helped Osmara Zarate to prepare for a meeting about safety for tomorrow. Later on I went to help Carl Okalski check if the drawings were all in there for him to use. Carl later on taught me about the bid of the drawings for certain buildings that had to be done in order to get approve from the State of Michigan to say that the numbers of the drawings will work. 

Today I started my day as always. I mailed invoices from the Ideal Shield Company that Steve Snyder gave me in the morning when I came in. Then the rest of the day I did three hundred ninety scans that needed to be saved in the in files with the filing application that I use that makes it more easy and faster.

Today as every Monday morning I ordered fruit for building A. After I ordered fruit I worked on some invoices for Steve and after mailing out the invoices I worked on scans which took me all the way to the end of my day. In between working on scans I filed receipts into the group amex folder. Today was a good and productive day, I didn't have many tasks but scans take up a lot of time.

The first task I was given today was to create and rename files for new edits on a job. I then scanned some papers for Joe Rodgers and used Sage to put information on waivers. I finished that after lunch and went upstairs to file invoices. I filled some information onto an excel spreadsheet and took off the ornaments on the white board. Today was pretty good although I forgot some of my passwords and one expired. I thought today was a good day since I did many tasks and took away something from each one.

My Weekly Blog   Today at Ideal Group was a great day. When I arrived in the morning I started updating Mr. Venegas excel list. Later on I was sent to Steel to help Carl Okalski. Working with Carl was amazing; I helped him organized his files, and transfer drawings onto a new file. The excel list that I was told to type new information was about renovating the plant paint building.

 I only did two things all day. I started with going to Steve Snyder and he gave me some invoices to do first in the morning. Then the second task that I did today was scans, I did a round three hundred scans that needed to be filed in the system with the filing application that I use. 

After being on break for 2 whole weeks I returned to work. Today I started of my day by ordering fruit, after it arrived I distributed it to the three departments (admin, shield, and contracting). As I finished this task, I went to Steve to ask for work and he gave me invoices and scans which took me all the way to the end of my day. But while I was working on scans I also started putting pictures in a USB to pass them on to digital photo frame. Overall, today was a good and productive day.
