My last work day for 2014 by Richard Zarate

Today when I got here, I sat in Osmara's desk and checked my email. I started my day by doing some scans. While I was working, Linzie came and started talking to Amanda about going to the airport for the meeting with the consulate of Mexico. She asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. We left around 10:10 AM. We went to the  Coleman A. Young International Airport. They had a meeting about DAC(Detroit Aircraft Corporation). The meeting was great and interesting.  After the meeting, Linzie took me and Amanda out to eat. We went to a restaurant on Russell St. It was good, I ate a turkey club sandwich and chicken noodle soup. When we got back to the office, I finished the scans. I asked Alex for some more work and she gave me a mailer list to do. My day was pretty great and awesome because I got to learn new things and I met new people.   Today, I got to go to  DAC(Detroit Aircraft Corporation). There a company that makes drones. They had a meeting with the consulate of Mexico

Today when I got here, I went to go sit in Osmara's desk. Amanda asked me to go get some cleaning supplies from her car. After I got the supplies, I started working on a calendar for Cadillac Urban Garden. I worked on the calendar until 10:00 AM. I did some scans for marketing and I finished around 11:30 AM. I asked Amanda for some work and she asked me to work on the Ideal Surplus website. I worked on it until lunch.  After lunch, I continued working on the website. Sylvia asked if she could look at my calendar. She suggested that I should replace a picture with one that has people inside. So I did a few improvements on the calendar. After I finished, I continued with the website. I gave Amanda the paper to make up a work day and she told me I was going to work in Ideal Surplus. My day was pretty good.  Last Saturday and Sunday, I got to work in Camp Frank. On Saturday, Jose Perez picked me up and we went to work with Alex as well. We only worked for 3 hours, we moved some of

A slow day by Richard Zarate

Today when I got here, I checked my email. Alex didn't leave me any work today, so I did some of the work I didn't get to finish yesterday. Later Amanda gave me a long assignment to work on. I had to get on the Ideal Surplus website, but it took a long time to load. I had to put in some products for the website. Amanda and Sylvia were in a meeting and I was mostly by myself. I work on my task until lunch.   After lunch, I continued to work on the website, I accidentally hit refresh and I had to start over, but luckily I  saved before lunch and I only had to redo a few products. While I was working, Frank came and introduced me to someone. Later, Sylvia asked me to organize some of Frank's papers. I also unloaded the dishwasher. Today was pretty much a slow and simple day.   What is one thing I'm grateful for? I'm grateful to have my family. Both my parents helps me a lot in my life. My older sister, Osmara, helps me in school and work. My older brother, Oscar,

Today when I got here, I sat in Sylvia's desk for a while. I checked my email and then I did last week's tasks because I wasn't here. I started by doing some scans, I had to save them on the network. After an hour, I was moved to Frank's desk because Sylvia came. I continued to do the scans. After I finished saving them onto the network, I had to save them in Sugar. While I was working, Osmara asked me to put up some papers around the building. After I finished, I continued working on the scans. After I finished with the scans, Osmara took a picture of me for the Group Scoop and then we went to lunch.   After lunch, Alex gave me some postcards to mail out. There were a lot of them, but I managed to finish all of them. I gave Frank's fish tank a quick scrub and I also fed his fishes. After I fed his fishes, I went upstairs to Contracting to help them. I did some filing and then I went back downstairs and wrote my blog.   What was my favorite thing I did over the
