Ideal Group Interns

I started off my day finishing up the safety meeting updates. Then I started on a project that I needed to finish. I had to create a building layout. I researched a bit on how to create one, and soon I got to work on it. It took over most of my morning because I had to try to imitate the same layout and format all the fire extinguishers and first aid kit. I was able to complete it and send it out to Jon so that he could get back to me with corrections. I also worked with Yvette on updating the letter for the DCRHS Garden Party. I had a great lunch with Hilary. After lunch I made a copy of a check and sent it out for Sylvia. In the afternoon, I looked over some magazine subscriptions and cleaned out some folders. Overall my day was great. I'll be back tomorrow!

I was able to accomplish a lot today. I came in and did my usual Temp Scan and then set up some customers in the computer for Gary. Afterwards, I went and put some papers in alphabetical order for Yehyah. Next, I went to Keli, and for her, I went back into Sugar only this time to gather information out, rather than putting any in. Finally, I went up and received a lot of new work from Yese and Linda. I filed, did some things on facebook, and did a lot of other important things on the computer. That was all for my day.

This weekend I had fun on the first opening day of the park. It was fun, I volunteered to take charge of the Angry Birds game. I left early, but I had fun. Today was fun, I came in Ideal and started to do PDPM and hard dollars folders and filed them. When I was finished, Linda had me take checks downstairs to the mail box. The next thing I did was file employee folders. When I was done I did my Geometry homework which took me the rest of the morning. Linda was going to be out later so she told me to go downstairs with Amanda and work for some of the day. I went with Catherine and she had me do highlight  parking information papers which relate to Engineering, parking, University, and etc. I was done and lunch came. When I was done with my brake I went with Yaya and he had me file some invoices. Overall, my day went great. JP

This weekend I went to the first opening of the park this year. I had fun playing with little kids and getting my face painted it turned out to be a great afternoon and I enjoyed myself. Today at Ideal Group I started my day by helping marketing mailing poster that need to be sent to customers. After I helped Setech with filing and then went to lunch. Lunch was fun since I went with Keli and Cathy and we had a long conversation. When lunch was over I helped Linda to do some mailing with Yesi. Afterwards I went to log in some information on Facebook for the park and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ

This weekend I went to the 2nd Annual Opening of Scarcyny Park. I volunteered to facepaint. It was a bit windy, but it was a great day. I enjoyed painting little kids face, and even though it was cold and windy the kids played and played. I had to leave a bit early because I had to work, but the day was good. Today at Ideal Group I started off my day with a big project. I had to send out emails to hopefully sponsers for the Detroit Cristo Rey Garden party. It took me most of my morning and also afternoon. I had to come up with the email and I did, now I'm just waiting for Linzie's approval. In the afternoon, I worked on some safety stuff, then I began projects for Sylvia. I had to do charge card authorization forms and wait for approval. Since Sean was not in his office, but in a meeting I could only finish up the forms, but not complete the task. I work this Monday and Tuesday, so hopefully I'll be catched up on work!

Today went swiftly for me. I came in and did the temp scans and looked up some products for Gary. Once I was done, Keli had me finish off a spreadsheet Jose had started. I did that for a while until finally, I had finished. Keli then gave me a new assignment that consisted of me creating a spreadsheet from some information in a magazine. Around that time, it was already three and my day was pretty much over. That was all for my day at Ideal, TGIF! See you Monday.

Today was a fun day. I started by doing PDPM and hard dollar folders and filed them. When I was finished Yesi made me file some documents, it took me all morning. Then Linda and I went to pick up a cake for the birthday boys and she let me drive her car, It was awesome. We went back and Linda made me upload pictures of the Garden to Facebook, then make Facebook events. After that Linda, Terry, and I went to pass by the Garden to see it, we went back and Linda and I went to McDonald's for lunch. I ate and started to do my Geometry and Chemistry homework. Overall, my day went great. 

    Today was a very interesting day. I started out by helping Setech with some of the filing they needed done. That took me all morning and I just couldn't wait to get it done. Afterwards I went to lunch were I worked on my homework and had a good PB and J sandwich. When lunch came to an end I went to go talk to Denis about WWI and he gave me some tips on what my essay should be on. When I went back to work I helped marketing make a list of different address to send post cards to. When I was finished I went to talk to Amanda and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today was a good day, I started of my day working on a flyer, I had a bit of trouble with it at first because I wanted to make it different, but I soon got an idea and I was able to create a flyer really fast. It took me about 2 hours to finish, when I was done printing and putting them on throughout the building, I began on my safety meeting things. I updated all of the stuff and did my usual walk thrus. It was soon lunch time, and I enjoyed an arugula salad that Sylvia bought me. After lunch the safety meeting occurred, we disscussed a lot of new things and I was assigned projects. After the meeting I began to update the file, but I remembered I had a project for Yessie. I had to recreate a book drive flyer. I posted them up around the building and when I noticed it was time to go. Overall my day was great.

   Today was a great day. I came in to Ideal and started to do PDPM and hard dollar for Linda since she wasn't here.Then Yesi had me check the list to make sure every employee checks were their. When I finished I helped Yesi on Excel to organize expenses reports. It was something new for me, but it was fun. I finished and Yesi had me mail check for employees, I had to seal them, stamp them. Later I had to file papers and putting them in the employee folders.    Lunch came and Yesi, Chelsie, and I went to Subway. We got our orders and we went to the Garden Park to eat, since it was so hot outside.We went back and I started to do my Geometry homework, I took my time and finished it. When I was done with my homework Yesi had me put checks and the copies together so Chelsie can file them. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a slow day for me. I came in and filed as usual then went to ask Keli for work. She gave me the papers for the airline spreadsheet, and that's pretty much all I did today. Between doing that though, I did make Andrea a spreadsheet that took less then 10 minutes. After that was finished, I went back to the spreadsheet for Keli. I am once again racing the clock. Today was a very good day. I started out by helping Setech file invoices into the right places.  Afterwards helped marketing input mailing list data in Excel. When I finished, I went to lunch with Yesi and Linda and had a great time eating a bacon burger and fries. After lunch was over, I went to help Yesi upstairs entering employee information into the job folders. Today was a busy day but, overall today went great. JOSE PEREZ

Today was a really fast moving day, I began my day cleaning out my folder and checking what I had to do. I had to make a meeting request again for the safety meetings on Tuesday, since these past couple of days we've been getting our computers updated, our Outlook has been acting kind of weird. I then helped Keli in marketing cut flyers out, the first time I did them, they were accidently printed out wrong, so I had to recut them. After that, I updated Rachael's red book. I also updated the work instructions, Amanda and I went to Starbucks for lunch and after lunch I handed in the red book to Rachael. I then began a project for Amanda, I had to look through all the event folders and double checked if they were in the calender and if they had a check request form. Overall my day went by fast, I'm really excited for our soccer game tonight, wish us luck! Osmara

Today was an usual day at Ideal Group I started out by helping Sean enter his invoices into the network.  Afterwards I helped Edna with some things that need to be mailed. When I had finished mailing, I went to go help marketing with a list of things to type into Excel. Then, I helped Setech with some filing and after found out that our blogger had changed.
