Ideal Group Interns

  Today was a good day, I started my day by putting some labels on postcards. I did a few and then Sylvia asked me to check on Frank's fish. I went to his office and counted 14 fish. I notice that the plants had some algae on them, so I cleaned the algae off the plants and tank. Amanda told me that I wasn't going to do mailers, I was going to make something for the robotics team. I had to make a one page that described our school and team. She gave me a list of stuff that we should have on the paper. I started to work on the paper until lunch.   After lunch I continued to work on the paper and by 1:00 pm, I had a rough draft of the paper. Amanda wasn't here, so I started to mail out some postcards. I showed Amanda the draft and she gave me some more ideas and corrected a few errors. Amanda later asked me to send her the file.   Today I work on Monday, so my sister works with me. I sat at a different desk today. I checked my email and later asked Alex for some work. She gave me some postcards to mail out and she sent me a mailer to do.  I started to do the mailer. While I was working, I went to go check on Frank's fish tank. I counted the fish and cleaned the algae off the tank. I continued to work on the mailers until lunch.  After lunch, I continued to work on the mailer list and I finished it and sent it back to Alex. Alex gave me some more postcards to mail out. After I finished, I helped Sylvia by making some folders for her. After I helped her, I helped my sister with some receipts. Today was a good day.   What do I expect at the First Robotics Competition in Michigan? I expect to see many student from all over Michigan. Jacqueline Perez January 5, 2015                                        I enjoyed coming to work today and working with Amanda and Sylvia. I helped Sylvia out today. Sylvia and I both began talking about Cadillac Urban Gardens and what we are planning for this year. I planned out the Madrina Luncheon, where we get the people that are most involved in the garden together and start planning out what will be done throughout the gardening season. I also contacted Sarah Clark and received some dates that are already scheduled for the garden. I also made folders and filed some things for Sylvia. Before going out to lunch, I learned how to sort out her and Frank’s mail.             For lunch today I went out with Sylvia to Lupita’s Mexican restaurant. We ate some delicious Mexican food. Sylvia got some chicken soup that makes her feel better whenever she starts to feel sick. After lunch we stopped by a small Mexican novelty shop, which was next door and Sylvia and I chose out some fi
