Ideal Group Interns

Today was a good day. I can tell that I'm getting used to working here because I'm getting my work done much faster. I went out to lunch with Brian and Keli and did a little easy work for Gary and found a little busy work for myself after awhile. I did not help with the mail today but I did end up doing some work for Sean. So while doing some work for him I learned something new, how to file his stuff and some of the things he has to do here at Ideal. I got to sit in on a meeting for the first tome since I've been here and that was cool too. Just another day for another dollar (that I dont get to keep).

Today was a busy day. I started of by helping Linda on some checks that she had to give out then she gave me some folders to see if some were hard doller and PDPM it was all lot but I finished it. Then I went downstairs to help Khali do some papers for a meeting eventually that took me all morning. Lunch came and had a good time. When I finished I went to do the mail with Edna we finished and did my homework. Later I help Yesi do some new hired workers folders and filed them. Overall my day went great. JP

Wow today was a very busy day.! I'm surprised I got everything done before 5. My day started off pretty normal, I added some things on to the calendar, and sent out an invite. I also went to DHDC with Amanda to pick up the tin cans for the raffle, after that I mounted signs on to this black foam board for the event. After lunch, I made some phone calls regarding Western International pictures and sent out some important e-mails to people regerding parking. I did some many more things but I thought not to mention them. I did not help Edna with the mail today because for one there wasn't really any mail. Now, it's time to go home and get ready for tomorrow because the event is finally here.! BUSY BUSY DAY FOR TOMORROW.

Today was an ordinary day. I started out by doing what I usally do which was payroll. I worked on payroll for the whole morning and started to work on some of Seans POs. After working on Seans POs I went to lunch and had a good time. After lunch I worked on the mail and delivered it to everyone. Soon after I went to help Gary on some folders he had to make and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ**

I did not come to work yesterday (Monday) because I had a doctor's appointment, so today I had to make up from yesterday and tomorrow I will be working since I did miss Monday, but it's good because I can make up my hours, also Thursday is the event..wow time flies by fast. I remember when I first started working here, on my first day I went to the meeting at DTE about the event but I didn't really know anything about it. Thursday I will actually get to see everything put together and see how it all worked out, which I'm pretty excited about. Now about my day, today was okay. I had a bunch and bunch of work on my desk when I got here, but surprisingly I got it done rather quick. As usual I helped Edna with the mail after lunch and did a couple more task. Sylvia and Amanda S had went to a meeting at DTE so I've just been finishing up task, looking up information, and talking to Osmara. Now, I'm going home to relax and get plenty of rest for tomorrow, for some rea

Today was a very busy day. I went with Linda and she gave me a bunch of stacks of papers to put them in order apperantly it took me all morning to order them. When I was finished I did all my home work I had to do and I finished them woth out no hurrys. Lunch came and we ate Chili that Linda brought. Then I filed some folders I went downstairs Edna wasent here so Sean helped me and seens it was monday it was all lot of mail I got a little tired but we finished it all. Overall my daty went great.      My day was pretty bussy. It starting out really slow though because Keli wasn't here of course because she is apparently on vacation so she set up my email and things and gave  me a little project to do, which was bind a lot of papers. I guess she thought it would take me all morning but only took me five seconds because that was the only thing she gave me. She had more work for me but the instructions were with Brian, and guess what! He was in a meeting for a big portion of the morning. So, instead  I got a little work from Gary which was done pretty quickly then went and filed some papers for Yehya. After all that work though Brian was out of his meeting and he brought out the real work for me. So since then I've been working on getting all this information and putting it onto a spread sheet. Which isn't very difficult at all but it can take up alot of your time. Of course like always, I helped Edna with the mail, and is still exciting about my computer name and emai

Today was pretty good can't really complain, the weather was pretty ugly but that's a different story. Work was good, I had many task to do like update the calendar, sort the mail with Edna as usual, make some folders, scan papers, research, and send some e-mails. I did do something new today and that was Sylvia's notes, all I had to do was copy them from her notebook and place them in the computer. Pretty easy right.! I did go with Amanda to pick up the carry out for the meeting, so I got to feel how ugly it was outside. Umm, I did finally call the Admissions at Wayne County, I already explained the details, so no point of writing them down... But yeah that's pretty much my day. Tomorrow's Friday so I don't have work, but I do have a lot of other things to do, but that's a different story as well.... Welp till Monday blog, Sylvia, and Amanda!

Today was a busy day but I had fun. I came and worked with Linda helping her do checks and giving them the right person. Then I finished and I set up my new computer. I was pretty exaited about it because I'll do more work to keep me busy until the end of the the day and learn new things which I did. I learned how to do payroll stuff but I forgot what it was called. It got so busy that I finished in the end of the day. Then lunch came, I  went downstairs to do the mail with Edna, we finished and I went upstairs to finish my work that I was doing. Overall my day went great. JP

Today was a very busy day. I started out by doing the payroll for Setech which took all morning. Then I had to prepare for the lunch meeting for Frank and had to help Sylvia. After the meeting I went to lunch and had a little break but then had to go back to work. I finished sorting and then went back to helping Setech. That concluded my day. JOSE PEREZ**

Today was an interesting day, not much really happened today but I feel like somethings going o...I can't put my finger on it. Anyways, I did learn a new task and that was a check request form it's sort of like the credit card authorization form. Also, I have no idea who wrote the work instructions for the card authorization but it's i don't know how to explain it. The mail was really short today, which kind of surprises me... Let's see what else I did.....I e-mailed some people, took some pictures of the items for the Auction, made a couple of spreadsheets, and organized my stuff a little. My day could have gone better if, it wasn't so ugly outside. Bad weather makes me tired and stuff.

Tuesday, Today was a good day. I started off my day entering contacts into Amanda's outlook and made a flyer on tipas how to prevent the flu, since the flu season is coming. Then I worked on the safety walk thrus. I went out to the shop and made sure that all machines where being updated. When I got back inside I started updateing the excel spread sheet. I finished everything before lunch so that Amanda and I could go to eat. We went to Hard Rock Cafe, it was very good! After lunch I prepared for the safety meeting. I set up the conference room and gathered everyone in. The meeting went by good, and everyone left satisfied. After the meeting I updated the file with new content and saved it. In the afternoon, I researched colleges and read the DCRHS newsletter. Overall my day was great.

Today came out to be a fast day for me, as soon as I came in I had work to do. I finished most of it before lunch, after lunch the mail bin was full and Edna isn't here so I sorted it all by myself. Finally Jose and Sean came back from lunch so they finished helping because I had to go to the DTE meeting about the Event. When I got back it was about four. So my day really has gone by fast. My day could have gone better if Edna was here, but other than that my day went fine.

Today was an average day, but I had fun. I started out by doing some work for Setech for the first time in a long time. I  had to file. After filing, I had  some spare things to do like help Sean do his invoices and payroll. While I was working on invoices, Amanda said it was time for lunch, so we went out and I had a great time. When I came back to Ideal, I went back to work and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ*

Today I did alot of work for Gary mainly. Just a lot of little things here and there. I binded papers for Sylvia and Amanda. I did the mail of course but with Sean since Edna wasn't here today. I didn't do as much as usual today but I did find that I know most of my coworkers' names which is great.  That was my day!

Today was a good day, I started by helping Linda on some checks and sending them with the right worker when we finished I helped on some papers which was something new for me it was kind of hard but I did it. Then lunch came and I had a good break. When I was done and did my homework I was finished and I went downstairs to say hi to Frank and talk. Overall my day went great.

Today was a normal day as always I kept busy. I started out by doing the pay roll for Setech which took me all morning. Then I started to do some work for Sean but didn't get to finish because it was lunch time. At lunch I worked on my essay and had a good time eating. After lunch I was waiting for the mail but it never came so I moved on and finshed Sean's work and that was my day.

In exactly one hour I have my scholarship interview, i'm not nervous yet but when the time come's I know I will be. Work was good as usual, I did my normal morning routine of checking my inbox to see what Sylvia had sent me to do. After I am all finished with that I did some other task like research, packages, mail, and contacts. I would say overall I had a succesfull and nice day. Now I have work out of my mind I need to figure out what I am going to say at the interview. As you hear i am very nervous now........

I started off my day adding a couple of changes to my iPad essay. Then I added a few contacts into Amanda's outlook. When I was finished, I started to work on my safety meeting items. I mad sure things where right and i only made a couple of changes. I was then tasked to organize some cabinets and some papers. Lunch came soon, so Amanda and I went to Avalon, It was actually a great lunch. After lunch I worked on m tasks. The mail came and since there was only one bin and it didn't take much time. I then continued to work on a couple of tasks I finised most of them. Overall my day was good.

I need to start remembering to write my blog everyday, I tend to get distracted by other task. Any who, yesterday went by so fast I couldn't believe it. As soon as I walked in I had a table fool of task and I completed them by lunch, I was very proud of myself for that. After lunch the mail did not come because it was Columbus day, so I know today (the 11th) there's going to be a lot of mail. I need to  prepair myself for that..... I did learn a new task and that was Franks Magazine Subscriptions. Sylvia said, she's going to make me the queen of that. I did more task after that but they were task that I know how to do, so I prefer not to talk about them. Overall I had a good and succesful day yesturday. Well see what happens today........

Today was a good day. I started off my day adding contacts into Amanda's outlook. I was a bit behind in them, but I finished them all. I also created a couple of folders for Amanda, concerning various events. I was given a 2 day task. I have to write an essay on the iPad and how I see it helping Detroit Cristo Rey. I finished my first draft and I already typed it. Tomorrow Amanda is going to take a look at it and I will finalize my task. I was asked if I wanted to volunteer at the DHDC Gala, and I agreed to, I'm actually very excited.I come in to work tomorrow also. I'm excited to see what a new day brings tomorrow.

Today was work. I accomplished many tasks and pretty much finished my day off with nothing left. I came in while Keli and Brian were in a meeting and started checking folders and seperating them to see wheather they were damaged or not. I had to go through 3 boxes! I helped Gary again today but not as much as usual. Just a few things here and there. Of course I helped Edna with the mail and Yehya with the filing. Its all work and no play here at Ideal. Anyways, Keli, Amanda, and Brian took me out to eat middle eastern food which again was a first for me, and it was delicious! Benefits of being the youngest intern! Life is good.

Gregarious is to be SOCIABLE, which I need to work on because I am very shy and you can't be shy at the Ideal Group.  Anyways, my day went day went fine considering I am not in a very good mood... But you can't let that stop you from anything. Well today I had a couple of task to do in the morning like, update a couple contacts, put the logo pictures in the folder for Amanda so she can have for the Dream Maker's Event, and make a couple packages. As usual after lunch I helped Edna and Sean with the mail. I aslo made some floders and learned a new task. I learned how to make the receipt paper to give to Sean, that was pretty easy. Now every Monday I have to ask Loren when he comes in if he has any receipts that I can put into the spreadsheet. Sylvia had me write a paper about my ideal day at work, home, and college so I did that. I actually wrote alot, which I didn't think I was going to do and I read it out loud to make sure it made sence. That technique really works,

Today was fun. First I went with Linda to help her do payroll and putting them in the envelope all day.Then I started to do my homework wich I finished it all. Later on I went to lunch I finished and did the mail for Contracting its pretty hard to know wich ones go to but ill know. In the end of the day Yesi helped me to do a work study sheet that I needed to fill out. Overall my day went great. JP

Today was a very long day because I did payroll all morning. It took me a while to finish payroll but I got it done then went to lunch. During my lunch Frank pulled me in to his office.In Franks office we had a long conversation about my future and how its my responsibility to stay on track to a good future. After the meeting I had many things to think about but continued my lunch. After lunch I did the mail with Edna and had a good talk about what I have been doing. When I finished the mail I went to work for Gary entering pictures onto eBay and that was basically my day. JOSE PEREZ*

My day started off pretty fast past, I had to make packets for the meeting that was going on today. As usual I helped Edna with the mail after lunch. After that I did my normal of making packeges and sending them off. Now that I got the labeling going i'm doing good at it. My day could have gone better if, I was more focused. The only reason for that being is because I didn't really feel food today, but I did not let that stop me. Now it's already about to be five o'clock and were has the time gone?

Tuesday Today was a good day. I started off my day making event folders. Then I made travel event invitations. I also added new contacts to Amanda's outlook. I then had a small meeting with Frank, Linzie, and Amanda. Frank took us out to eat to El Barzon. It was very delicious. After lunch I made a couple more event invitations. Then Amanda helped me with my English essay. Overall today was a great day, like always.

Today has been a very busy day, I first made a couple new packadges that had to be sent out. Then when I came back from lunch I helped Edna, Tylah, and Sean with the mail. I also started working on the Auction Item Spreadsheet, so that was a new task I had learned. Now I just have to upload the pictures of the Donors Logo's, so Amanda can have those for the banners. After that I have everything up to date for the day. My day couldn't of got better, because it was very smooth and productive.

Today started off pretty slow for me. I did some stuff on a few spread sheets Gary had for me. I helped Edna with the mail, helped Sylvia with her mail, filed for Yehya and ended my day by helping sean with some papers. I even got to talke to some people who visited today who were from the Masco Corporation which I learned was the world's largest home improvement corporation. I was truely happy with my day because I absolutely finished everything everyone had planned for me and more.
