Ideal Group Interns

I started off my day entering contacts for Sylvia. I then began on quite a big project for Amanda. The project involved making an excel sheet and entering contacts onto it. I knew that it was going to take pretty much the whole day, but luckily I had other small quick tasks throughout my day. I framed two certificates for Frank, created event folders for Amanda and printed out emails for Sylvia. I also learned how to categorize contacts. I was able to finish my big task, and complete all my small ones. Overall had a great day!

Today was a  good day I started out by mailing out some checks for Sean. After mailing was finished, I went back to Sean to work on some invoices that need to be entered and that took all morning. When lunch came I went to eat in the conference room and I had a good time. Then the mail got here and afterwards I worked on the mail then went to work for Amanda and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today was a very simple day and it went by pretty fast. I did some work for Gary. Then once I finished all that he could give me, I recieved some work from Keli to make a spreadsheet, and that is pretty much what I ended my day doing. But for the most exciting part of my day, I recieved my iPad. I was so overjoyed because I had been waiting for the longest but with patience comes great rewards. Anyhow, I had a little chat with Frank about my report card because I recieved 2nd honors. But other than that I was able to relax and enjoy my work. That was about it for my day. I had a successful, professional and fun filled day.

The day when they told I was going to visit Google and the Tigers I couldn't believe it, once they told me I was excited about it. We went to Osmara's house and waited until Linze picked us up. We had a good talk on our way and she told us where we were going to eat and it was a famous restaurant. I had a feeling it would be good! We got there and had different food than I normally do. The guys making sandwiches showed us what they had and choose what we wanted. We got our table and had some good sodas in different flavors, it was cool! We finished eating and Linze bought Jose Perez, Osmara and I  some Italian ice cream which was good. We also had the chance to eat some brownies that were so good! We got there early and and we had the chance to meet Mike Miller, he looked like a cool and fun guy. He gave us a tour around Google and told us about how it started and what people do, it was fun walking around. The thing that I liked was that they had a chef who made them free foo

Today was a very busy day. I started out by working for Sean, he gave me a huge pile of invoices and I knew it was going to take me all morning so I worked on that until lunch came. After lunch I went to look for work and Melissa had something for me to do I helped her enter the sales information in a excel sheet. The mail came after helping Melissa so I worked on that. Then when I finished with the mail, I went back to helping Sean and that was my day. Jose Perez**

Knowing we were going on a long trip to Ann Arbor made me think that we were going to a serious place. When they had told me we were going to Google I got excited because I had never been to a such huge corporation before. I was excited and a little bit nervous but I was also very hungry and was happy that Linzie said we were going to lunch. When we arrived to Zingerman's I was a little bit worried because it was not a place I usual eat at but at the end I had a great time and had a huge BLT. After lunch we finally went to Google and we got a tour from Chris and I got to see how people at Google work. It was an awesome experience! They even had their own food and places to hang out and garage doors in the building. At Google we got to see how they worked on computer to communicate with each other and to use web cams instead on email to make things fast. At the end of the tour we went downstairs to go meet the Detroit Tigers! I was excited and I couldn't wait to ask them questio

Tuesday Today started off well. I continued working on my magazine subscriptions, and I completed them all by noon. I was very proud of myself. I also re-organized my desk and cleared it up a little. in the afternoon, Amanda and Sylvia went to an executive meeting, so I was all by myself in the office. I was left with a couple of task to complete. My first task was to make an excel sheet and insert check data. Then I was to write my Google experience. Third, Sylvia gave me a research to do on a company for Loren. I completed all my task today, I had a very productive afternoon.

Knowing that we were going to go to Google in Ann Arbor thrilled me with excitement. Linzie picked us up at my house around noon. We drove to Ann Arbor and had a great talk on our way there. She said she was going to take us to a famous place for lunch and that going there would be like knowing the whole Ann Arbor community. We arrived at Zingerman’s at about 12:50’ish . Let me tell you that this place was very cool. We ordered our meal and they lead us to another place where we could get our drinks and pick up our food. We found a table for four, grabbed our drinks and began to eat.  We took pictures and Linzie bought us Gelato. Before we knew it, it was time to head on to Google. For some reason I was nervous, but very excited. Chris Genteel met us at the Google lobby shortly after we arrived. We got our name badges and Chris began to give us a tour of the Google facility. He told us many interesting facts about Google, he also told us about there 70, 20, 10 strategies. It was time t

Today was just another day at Ideal. I had in mind that I was going to try to complete as many magazine subscriptions as I could and I did, I'm not finished, but I will continue to stay on task and keep my spread sheet updated. Throughout the day I had some small task like mailing out P.O.s and sorting out the mail, my last task was to look for a frame, it's been a pretty difficult one. Since today was my rotational Monday, I'll be back tomorrow to have another good, productive day at Ideal Group.

Today was the best day. First off, My day ended with nothing for me to do. It was very unusual for me with everyone having nothing for me to do but I wasn't complaining. I just didn't really know what to do with myself in the meantime. But of course I managed to find some simple lay-back-and-rest work. Anyways though, when I came in I went straight into a meeting and was able to listen, learn and observe. When that was done, I received work from Gary. It was some new stuff and some old stuff and I finished it all before he got back from lunch. I did a lot of scanning today for Gary and Sylvia, even organized some of Gary's dressers. But in the end I still finished everything with time left to spare. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade right? Well when life gives you a job....

Today was a great day. I started by doing Linda's PDPM and hard dollars folder and filed them in numerical order, Yesi wasn't here so I didnt do to much stuff today. The PDPM took me all day to finish but at least it kept me busy. Linda didn't take me to lunch because she was busy so she made me some eggs which was pretty good. I continued with my PDPM and Amanda called me to downstairs. When I went downstairs Linzie was in the office and she asked if I wanted to go to Ann Arbor to meet Google and the Tigers tomorrow, I cant wait to go! I went upstairs and Linda had more PDPM and hard dollars so I had to file them. It was exhausting because I was standing up all day and walking. And plus my tutor didn't come to help me with my finals. But overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a very exciting day. I did so many things that I couldn’t keep track . I started the day by helping Sean do some invoices which took most of my morning. After helping Sean I went to put all of Frank's stuff back in his office and a few minutes later, someone came to take pictures of me for a magazine and I had a great time. I started in the late morning and didn’t finish till the afternoon. Then after fixing Frank's office I went to work for Amanda and that was my day. Jose Perez

I started off my day working on the safety meeting items. I did a walk thru out in the shop, and printed out the files necessary for today's meeting. I then filed a couple of event folders and stared to work on magazine subscriptions. Lunch time came and Amanda and I went to get lunch then ran a couple of errands. We came back right before the meeting, sat down and had our meeting, which was a good meeting, in my opinion. Then I updated the file with new items and I helped get boxes out of Frank's office and did one more magazine subscription. Overall my day was very productive.

Today started out good and I began my day by helping Sean doing some invoicing. It took me all morning but I got it done afterwards I went to work for Keli in marketing. In marketing I helped Keli by scanning a few things then sending them to her. Then when I was done with my work I went to lunch and had a great time just listening to music. Toaday was a great day. It's good to be back at work. Although there was some work waiting for me. First, I decided to clean my desk, it was a mess! I organized everything and threw away papers that weren't necessary. I had the color scanner on my desk so I took it back to the marketing department. Then I did a couple of jobs for Amanda, it included making a folder and organizing and distributing tickets. I then started on magazine subscriptions, it took over most of my morning and a little of my afternoon. My last task was to update the newsletter spreadsheet. Overall my day was good, couldn't of asked for a better Tuesday.

Today was kind of a slow day for me. Once again I sat at Jacelyn's desk because they took my computer out of my office and of course that is what I need to survive here. But first off walking in was the funniest thing because I guess everyone thought I didn't work today so everyone was all "TYLAH!". They were so happy to be able to fill me with work today. Keli wasn't here but even without her I managed to get more work than I needed or wanted, as always. But thats fine though, I mean they aren't paying me to do nothing. (But oh how I wish that was the case.) I finished the project for Melissa and did some new work for Gary too. I pretty much ended the rest of my day putting pictures on the Ideal Group eBay or Gary. What fun!

Today was my first day working on Ideal Group in 2012. It was great being back. My tutor came and we started by doing my homework and the vocabulary words she left me over the summer. In accordance with her rule I took a quiz on them. When she left I went upstairs and helped Yesi on some new hired folders. When I was done I started doing I-9 forms and put them on a big folder which I had been working on for a long time. Lunch came and I ate some Chili that Linda made for us and a cake.When I was done eating I went to do some PDPM work all afternoon. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was the first work day of 2012 I started out by helping Sean with some invoices then I went to go help marketing. After working for marketing I went to lunch, which someone took my lunch so I had nothing to eat until Sean brought me a Mcdouble and it was delicious. Then when lunch was over I did the mail and went back to work with both Amandas and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ***
