Ideal Group Interns

Three things that I have learned at Ideal are how to laminate which I found pretty cool and fun.  I didn't know what to do or how to do it, but now I know how to laminate when my supervisors ask me to. The second thing that I learned at Ideal is how to scan on the printer which was really interesting, now people ask me if I could send them something which I do. The last thing is to not be so nervous around people, when I'm with my friends I'm always talking but around new people I'm shy but when I get to know them and fell comfortable I start talking, Ideal has showed me and introduced me people and now I a getting more confident towards talking to people.

   Things that I've learn so far in Ideal are PO's, mailers, and meeting new people. When I first started here, I had to do PO's. I didn't know what that was at first in till my supervisor, Alex taught me and it wasn't so hard. I've also learned how to send mail. I thought we just had to put the address stickers to the mail but you also had to scan it through this mailer machine. Finally, I've learned how to be less nervous and meet new people. I've met a lot of people, not all but hopefully I do get to know more people while I'm working here. 

Three things that I Have learned from Ideal are, number one I've learned how to print out purchase orders and tracking shipments for thing that have been delivered to Ideal. Second thing that I've learned is getting to know people in your group so you can get comfortable in your work environment. The last thing that I have learned is having lots of opportunities at Ideal like being able to apply for scholarships for college that will help me in future.

           Today was a confusing day with the 3-D printer. In the morning, I got Santino started and went to my desk. When I arrived at my desk I informed Sean about what had happened last week with the printer and he understood the problem. Then he asked if I had any more ideas on what to print. I, being eager to keep printing, immediately took some time to find more models to print. Once I found some good prints, I prepared the printer and the files to print. It took a small print about two hours to print but the print didn't really come out well and the printer kept getting clogged when Sean and I tried to print something else. After trying, Sean went out for food so we could have lunch. When Sean came back her had brought me, what was almost like a tradition of chili cheese fries. During and after lunch we tried to print more but the thing wouldn't. Near the end of the day we had to fix Jesse's printer to no avail. Lastly, I cleaned the office a bit, did my daily blog a

Santino Lopez 9th Grade Shield Department 12/16/16 Goals Of December My goals for December are to prepare for finals in January. I'll be sure to complete all of the homework my teachers give me and be sure I understand the concept. I'll make sure my family experiences a marvelous Christmas and to keep their spirits up. Finally, I'll enjoy my break and not stress too much over finals. My Day Today I'm extremely glad that I work inside a heated building. because I'm sure that the outside today felt like a tundra! Anyways. today I pretty much did the usual, started out with mailing the invoices and scans. though today while I was using the stamping machine to stamp the letters, it said it ran out of funds. Turns out that the machine measures a balance of money, which is specifically for stamps on letters! Pretty cool stuff. After that I did a few hundred scans to during the day. 

My goals for December would be to prestige 1 time at least before December is over and the name of my game is Infinite Warfare and I love to play for hours, I don't stop till my moms says so or when I know I am going to get in trouble. I want to be with my family more and to hang out with my sister and that we can make Santa letters. My last goal would be to have a good birthday on the 16th and not have any arguments with anybody.

    My goals for December would be getting good grades, getting my work on time, and a new diet. I'm hoping I can keep up my grades and mange to only have A's and B's. I'm also going to try my best on turning my work on time. I have a habit on sometimes turning my work late, and I really wanna work on that, hoping to turn my work on time. Finally, I'm looking forward for a new diet. This is the last month of the year, and I want to get started with a new diet and entering the New Year with something different. 

My goals for December is that I would like to get a 3.0 and get a good grade at my projects. I would like to obtain better study habits as exams are coming in January. while I can run on ice I can't fully sprint and have to slow a bit down. I would like to be able to fully sprint on the ice.                            

My goals for December are to study real hard for midterms at school and have a great basketball season. I want to study very hard for midterms because I want to have good grades and I want to do well so that my grade wont fall. I want to do really well this season with basketball because me and the team have worked so hard so we can't have a rough season. I believe we will make it far. I will continue to work hard at school and in basketball so I can reach my future goals.

Today was a great day because I started to mess with a three-dimensional printer. First, I helped Sunny log in and went to my desk. When I arrived there, Sean and I talked about school for a bit and then he gave me the task list for the day. First I was to update a large amount of contact information and then I had a surprise. When I had nearly finished with the contact information Sean told me to follow him. We came upon this machine with the plywood housing. The machine turned out to be a three-dimensional printer. Sean told me that I was going to have to learn how to use the printer and eagerly helped him take the printer off the shelf. Sean and I had a couple rough patches but once Sean left I figured out how to work the machine. Sean told me to start off with some samples because I didn't know how to design yet, and so I did. When I had finished a sample, I looked online for more and picked one I liked. The one I liked took all day to finish and while I printed I finished the

Santino Lopez 9th Grade Shield Department 12/9/16 Things That Inspire Me 3 Things that currently inspire me are music, my parents, and friends. Music inspires me by filling me the power to get things done. When I listen to the right music I feel like I can do anything at 100%. My parent s inspire me by telling me that the more I learn and study, the easier life will be. They also take care of me and show me love when I need it most. My friends inspire me by sharing jokes and light hearted banter. They help me get through the day with a smile.  My Day Today was cool and a little stressful. I started with the usual mailing and scans, but I soon found out that everyone would be going out to lunch around 1, so I had to stay here and hold down the fort. Steve emailed me a ton of scans to keep me busy and I had to answer the gates and the door for visitors or deliveries. I think I handled it well, wasn't too difficult I was just worried I would mess it up so

Three things that inspire me is my mom, I've always looked up to her for guidance and inspiration, she is the one that will always have my back, she has been there for me good times and bad times. She will always be my number one and when she needs help I will be there for her. Another thing that I am grateful for is my Step-Dad he has been there for me when times were hard and he has helped my mom out a lot. The last thing that I am grateful for is having my dog Mattie and that we just adopted another dog two days ago and it's a baby Pit-Bull, Mattie is starting to like him which is good and both of them are playful, Mattie is always with me and waiting for me to get home so I pet her and play with her, to me she is the best dog and I also could ever replace her.

   Three things that inspire me is my family, friends, & music. My family have always been there for me when I needed them. They've taught me to try my best on everything I can. Same goes for my friends. My friends always put a smile on my face and make me feel better when I don't. They taught me that things in life can sometimes be hard, but that's why you have a friend to go to when you need help. Finally, music has inspired me as well. When I'm in a bad mood or just need sometime to myself, music always helps me. Music motivates me as well. These are the things that inspire me.

Oscar Jimenez Three things that inspire me in life is Detroit, my brothers, and nature. Detroit is struggling at times and wherever I go outside I am immersed in the artwork and the beauty of my city. I like it a lot and I am inspired by  the people and the artwork. My brothers are my family and they help me be better and I help them. they inspire me and encourage me to do things to make them proud. Nature is very beautiful and the ever changing seasons bear new and colorful landscapes you can't help but admire. I base a lot of my drawings on nature.

Three thing that currently inspire me is Basketball, College, and my family. Basketball is inspiring me to become a great athlete on the court but also become a great student in the classroom this is where the student athlete part comes in. College is inspiring me very much I'm trying to get scholarships so I wont have to owe money. It is very exciting because thats what determines your future. My family plays a huge role in supporting me through my life that its inspired me to do well at school and in basketball.

Santino Lopez 9th Grade Shield Department 12/2/16 My Day Glad it's finally the weekend! Felt like a pretty long week and I'm happy I pulled through. Today, I was off to a bit of an iffy start. I forgot to tell Enrique to log me into the computer and I couldn't find him so I just went to Shaun to ask for help. He made Enrique a new password and gave me it to log in for today. Problem was, it didn't work! I tried around 5 times, put it in letter for letter but it just ended up locking me out. Shaun reset the account and tried the password himself but it still didn't work, so he gave it a new password and set it all up. After that the day flew by, just doing a little bit of mailing and a lot of scans. 

          Today was a smooth day even though my supervisor had to leave for the most of it. When we walked in Osmara asked if I could go help Rachael and I did. For about an hour I was tying little bows on Christmas presents for some co-workers. After this I reported to Sean for some IT work for the day. He gave me a big list of contact information on many of our workers. I was to update people's contact information. A bit later Sean had to leave and I finished updating around lunch time. After lunch, I went to Trevor to get some more work and he gave me enough for two hours. When the clock hit three I did my blog and finished my day.            The three things that inspire me right now are my future career, my future life, and being able to contribute to my family later. I am excited for the future because I will be doing what I love and be getting paid extremely well. These inspire because when I am struggling, I endure because of these end goals. 

Where I would want to go is the Cretaceous Period, which was the time that Spinosaurus lived. I have loved dinosaurs since I was young and I still do. I do know that it would be dangerous if I were to go back, but to know more about dinosaurs and know how they lived and cooperated with there kind and others, how they respected each other would be amazing. Spinosaurus is the biggest dinosaur of all, he is also a theropod. Spinosaurus is a fish eater and a land eater, he mainly ate fish, one thing is that he has holes on top of his nose which meant he could easily sense fish in the water and could attack them with his claws, but when fish started dying he would go for other dinosaurs, kind of like carcharodontosaurus which both of them were enemies. The temperatures started rising up which meant that lakes, rivers, ponds started drying up so fish would start dying, so Spinosaurus would have to go on land and eat but there was also other dangerous dinosaurs.    If I could live at any place, at anytime it would be California in the 1970s. I would like to be in that time place because I think it was a fun era to live in. I like how people hanged out and had fun with no electronics. I also love skateboarding, and at that time in Cali, skateboarding was a popular thing. I also love the vintage times. This is why I would've liked to have lived in this time and place.

Oscar Jimenez If I could I would live in the 21st century as it is. I am quite happy as I am and if you think of it any other time era has as much problems as this one today. also they don't have the luxuries that we have now.

If I could live in any place and time it would be Chicago in 1990s. The reason why is because I want to watch Michael Jordan play basketball at the United Center in Chicago. Michael Jordan is one of worlds best basketball player. He won six championships with the bulls in 1991, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98. I would love to witness him play and learn from the way he plays. Many people compare Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan and I would say that they play just alike. Its nice to see that there is a player out there that can play similar to Michael Jordan.

Today the IT Department was calm. In the morning, I, had settled Santino in and I had surprised Sean with my presence because he was not expecting me today. First I had tried to label some port but neither Sean or I could locate the ports in the server room. After that we tried to configure something for the camera project. he showed me what he did and we stopped there. We had received a package a bit later and it turned out to be a six-foot aux cord. The aux cord was to be used to connect the screen in the conference room to the sound bar. When lunch had arrived, I relaxed and ate my school lunch. After lunch Sean and I set up Joe's new computer and had a meeting with Trevor . Lastly, I ended my day with a blog. If I were to go back in time and place in history it would be the beginning of time. I would want to go here because I would want to see the world develop and see how everything started. I would also be able to see a world with no sin or religion. I have always wonder
