Ideal Group Interns

Today was a fairly easy day. I started off my day with a big project. I had to look up the top 50 foundations and put them into a spread sheet. I had to look for their address, foundation type, no. Of grants they gave out, and the total amount of dollars awarded. Luckily I found a PDF that gave me all that information, the only thin I had to do was look up their address and phone number. Throughout the day I had small task also. I made folders for Sylvia and helped Edna sort out the mail. My day overall was great!

Today was a very long day it took forever to go by. I began my day by helping Sean inter some scanning papers into the computer then I helped him put some new folder for his setec file cabaninte. After I was finished with that I helped setec people with some papers that had to be in order of site. After I had finished I went to lunch with the new intern girl and I showed her were Mcdonalds was located. We had a nice tLk in the conference room about what we were going to do after work. And we also talked about somethings that we didn't now about each other. After lunch I went back to my desk to help Edna with the mail it was very easy because it is the middle of the week. I had finished the mail in no time so I went back to work with Sean for a while then marketing need help to put some stickers on some post cards so I helped and finished the job for the job for them. Over all my day was ok except Diego left and I was very bord all day. :( JOSE PEREZ***

Today at Ideal I started my day with the usual. I checked my email, and set up the conference room for our weekly admin meeting. Then we discussed the plans for the day. This morning I started teaching Osmara how to set up calendars and print and send them out. Then we reviewed the steps for reciepts and basically all other task i perform. Then we had our picnic which was awsome! We're going to have another one soon! Then we came back and started the mail. And we fixed up the SSI form and will soon begin to print out the updated ones for the coordinators. Then Andrea tutored me. After that we began to call the magazine subscriptions. Today was a good day. I started off my Tuesday morning with a meeting. We discussed what our tasks were going to be. Diego started off training me on the calendars, magazine subscription, SSI forms, and many more admin stuff. Erica and Keli took Jose, Diego and I to a picnic. It was really fun and relaxing to be able to get out the office. Then Andrea came and tutored me on math and vocabulary. Then I continued working on the SSI forms and called a couple of magazine companies. Overall my day was great. Osmara Zarate

Today was a nice and quite day it was a little to long in the other hand. Over all it went great because I didn't file as much as I regularly do. I started by coming in and helping out setec now that yahyah is jot here for the day. I first helped to file all of the defiance paper in the place they had to be then when I finshed I did the other sites. After I went to a great lunch with Osmara,Diego,Keli,and Erika.I had a good time and liked the food.after lunch I went do the mail but couldn't because there was to many of us.So I helped out setec again and that was my day until the tutor came. Today was a great day at Ideal! I started off my day with reading my emails. Then I went to Keli to continue working on the 500 companies. I got to 59 which is about 65% complete. Then I had lunch and chilled with Jose. Then after that the mail came and that took us a while. After that I went back to Keli's project and worked on that till now. I also planned out Osmara's and my training session for tomorrow morning. Overall today was a great day! Diego Cruz

Today was a very long day it looked as if it took forever to finsh. It all started when I came in to work very early because my dad had to work early. After I got Droped off I Went to go file and then worked on my new computer.after I went to lunch and had a good time playing on diegos iPad.After lunch me and Diego did the mail and I went back to work on the computer and that was my day. Today was a busy day. I continued working on some things that I had not yet finished from yesterday. I made some folders and labels for Sylvia. Then I had to correct a couple of errors I had made on Loren's flight date. It was nothing big, I just had to learn how to invite people to the event using outlook. Thanks to Amanda I learned. After that I searched for budgeting apps. I found a really cool one. I played with it for the remaining time of my morning. I went to lunch with Amanda, Keli, and Erica. After lunch, I printed out a couple of presentations for Amanda. I also did some research on the companies located near the Howell facility. My day went by great. Osmara Zarate

Today was one of those days that goes by like a breeze. I started off my day making a prezi presentation on the apps that I think are good for students. I had a lot of fun doing this because it was something new to do. I loved playing around with the website that I ended up doing two presentations. Then I read an article on Frida and Diego Rivera. I had to write my overview on the article. I also had to write my summer goals. Then Amanda and I had a talk about my goals. I also learned how to insertvflight dates on my calendar. Today was day three at Ideal. I came in and began as usual with my emails. Then I went to Kelly & Erica in Marketing and began with some gatherings of flyers to send to Antonio. Then she gave Jose and I a big task which she split in half, that took me all morning. Then I had my lunch with Hiliary, and Jose. We talked about college, and work and Hilary gave me her ACT books. After lunch we quickly got through the mail. Then Sylvia gave me some folders to make, and to file, also contacts, and calendar appointments. Then I continued with Kelly's task. I am 96% through with it. Overall my day here was great! Diego Cruz

Today was an ok day it went by pretty fast. I started by coming in and meeting with Eric which went well.After I helped Setech with a little work they had and then went to marketing. At marketing I helped diego with work form Kelly after she gave both of us a task to do and then I went to lunch were I had fun on diegos ipad plaing games.After I had to go back to do Kellys work which was very long after a weil Frank called me in to a meeting which was very ineresting and good for and itwent great. After the meeting I went back to work to help Setech and that was my day.   

Today was an intersting day at ideal. When I first came in I did what I usually do. First I checked my email. Then we had our weekly admin meeting that Osmara is now involved in. We discussed what each folder does on the admin directory. Sylvia then explained what files Osmara was going to be using. Then after me and Osmara started on our training. We first went to Abel to collect our walkthroughs. Next we began to update them. Then we went back to the shop and did the preventive maintenance and then we got our walkthroughs back so we updated both. Then we printed all of the packets. Then we had lunch with Freddy and Sylvia. After that we had our safety meeting. Then I got tutored by Andrea. After that osmara and me finished updating the safety meeting minutes and looked for one Freddy misplaced. We found it like ten minutes later. After that we wrote on our blogs. Overall my day was great.

Today was my first day at work. I will now be working in the administrative office. I am learning new things. Today Diego and I focused on teaching me how the safety meeting is runned. I had a welcome meeting at 8:30 and then I started right away working with Diego. He went through so many procedures that were required for the safety meeting. I learned a lot. Lunch came by really soon, Freddie brought Diego, Jose, and I Chinese food. After lunch I attended the safety meeting I watched Diego go through the meeting, I learned that I had to write extra fast. After the meeting I went with Abel to HMC and took notes. I came back and met with Andrea, our summer tutor. Overall my day was great! Osmara Zarate

Today was an ok day it went by normally not to fast and not to slow. I had a long day because I kept busy all the time and had many task to do. Also because I had a high quantity of fieling to do before checking was do. At lunch I had a great time because Freddy brought us chinese and it was tasty and I had a great time with Osmara and Deigo. After lunch I went to do the mail by myself and and finished quicker then I thought. After I did the mail I meet with our touter and she explained what I was going to learn this summer. The I went to help Sean with some POs that needed to be interred and that was my day. Jose Perez **

Today was my first day as a paid Ideal Intern. I started off my day reading emails Sylvia had sent me with some tasks attached. The first thing I did was enter contacts to Sylvia’s outlook. Then I sent Laurie’s calendars. After that I edited a DHDC letter, and rewrote it. Then I went to the shop to collect all the red books I’ve been claiming for about two weeks. Then I made copies for Abel and Danny. Then I had my lunch with Jose. After lunch Jose and I started the gigantic pile of mail. Then I called Carolina for a sponsorship that he is interested in but she didn’t pick up so I emailed her. After that I set up Osmara’s schedule for tomorrow and the agenda. Today was a great first day of work! Diego Cruz

Today was the first day of work. It was fun because I got to spend time with other interns from Ideal. Also because I finally get paid to be here and the day seems more better. It al started in the morning when I walked in the building started to work on the paper work Amanda had given me. After me and deigo had finished she gave is the tour around the building and went to work after. I went to file and get my things ready for the day. After I went lunch in the meeting room and had a good talk with Deigo. When lunch was over I went back to work then had fun doing the mail. After I helped setech and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ*

Today was a good day. I started off my day looking through magazines. Then Amanda gave me a task to complete. I had to reorganize the event cabinet. I had organized it one way, but Amanda suggested another way that would be more helpful. My day went by fast. I went to lunch with Amanda, and after lunch I helped Edna with the mail and I also helped Sean. My day went great overall. Osmara Zarate

Today was my last day of work I will miss everyone hope I come back here next year :). I started the day by helping Linda filing some papers, when we finished we started to check her timesheets which took one hour  because there were some mistakes. Then Linda and I went to lunch and ate chinese food. When we got back we started to stuff some checks. Overall it was a great day. JP

Today was a great day at Ideal. It is my last day of school work, but I will start Monday as an Ideal Employee. I came in as usual checking my emails and preparing my back log. Then Sylvia arrived and immediately I began to work. I made a lot of labels for folders today. I checked on two magazine subscriptions, I had to charge Sylvia's iPad. Then I filed Frank's paid bills, and also sent Laurie her calendars. Then I went upstairs to have a brief discussion with Linda about the community garden. Then I had my lunch. After lunch I helped Edna with the mail. After that Sylvia gave me things to shred, and recycle. I gave Rachael some documents. I scanned some documents. I downloaded two books to read. I did some research on O'Brien Construction company and prepared a folder for Frank. Overall today was a busy and fun day! Diego Cruz

Today was the last day of at Ideal and it was a good day. I started by helping setech with there filling then helped Sean.After I had a great time with Amanda at lunch and we had a good talk about school and my summer. When we came back I helped Edna with the mail and went back to work and had a great time working for Ideal and hope I do the same next year. :)

Today was a very long day because there was many fieling because setech had problem.I spent all day trying to help them and finshing what they needed to be done.So at lunch I took a little brake and went back to work.After went back to work and that was my whole day. JOSE PEREZ

Today was a good day. I was out the office for the morning. I went to DHDC for a networking event. I learned alot today, from posterize while talking to having a great handshake. I also went to lunch with Amanda to El Rancho. When I arrived back to Ideal, I helped Sylvia cleaning up dishes from a lunch that Frank had. I then had a quick meeting with Amanda and Frank. I looked through magazines for about a half hour. I then had a meeting about the I-pad with Amanda My day was great today.

Today was good day. I start off by getting some papers in order then when I was finished I started to help Linda with the Timesheets. When we were done we went to an Arabic restaurant which was good. When I was back I went downstairs with Edna to do the mail like always. Finally I went with Linda helping her to stuff the checks. Overall it was a great day. JP

Today was a good day at Ideal. I came in like always to look at my email and began preparing my backlog. After that Slyvia gave me some tasks and Amanda and her went to a meeting. During that time I began with Laurie's calendars, then I called Jon, and tried to get a meeting with Abel for a tornado drill. After that I checked the waters and the hospitality list. Then I had my lunch. After lunch I finshed the mail. Then I worked on Linda's safety book. I finalized the safety meeting amd gave her the book. Then I made a folder for Sylvia and lastly I made a sheet for Slyvia to see my ACT scores. Overall today was a good day. Diego Cruz

Today was a very great day because I got an ipad which is cool.I had a great time useing it and I rely want to thank framk for it and Amanda for helping me set it up. besides the ipad today was ok because I just did the normal things I always do.

Today was a very long day I started by moving some papers around so i could have some space to file.So after I started to file and got a little sleepy but then it was time for lunch. At lunch it was a good time because it was salad day and it went great and I had fun. So then I went back to file and that was my day. JOSE PEREZ
