Ideal Group Interns

Today was a very fun day I had lots to do. I started out by helping Sean do Invoices. After I went back to the admin office and helped Amanda do some work for marketing doing some posters. Then I went to lunch and had a good time . Over all my day went great .

Today was beyond awesome. I was really excited for today's lunch. In the morning I was determined to try to finish the red books. The red books are the companies emergency and safety procedures. Every year they are required to get updated. Some things are simple, but some are really particular. I had to go out to the shop, second floor and main floor, and make sure that all of the fire extinguishers where in place. After, I had to make sure that all of the floor coordinators where still floor coordinators. My morning went by pretty slow, which in some way was good because I didn't seem to be any close to finishing the red books. I was instructed to email all my changes to a coworker and double check them with him so that he could make sure that everything was right. He's not going to get back to me till Thursday therefor I didn't finish. Lunch was really exciting. Amanda and I met up with Susan Cushnier from U of M Dearborn. I started off my day updating the safety meeting files. Since I did not have time to complete them last week I left it for today. Thankfully I work Monday and Tuesday this week so I was able to get through my work in peace. After I completed the safety meeting task, I began to enter contacts for Sylvia, there were quite a few, so it took over a bit of my afternoon. I had lunch with Amanda in the conference room, then we went out to get Starbucks. In the afternoon,I finished up the contacts, then I began to look over the emergency plan and try to get my task ready for tomorrow.

Today, the day went by fast, and the work came slow. Gary was not here today to keep me busy so I found a little work on my own. I went to Jennifer and she gave me some papers to file then some more papers to organise and put together. So, with all the work she gave me, I was set for the morning time. It all lasted about an hour after lunch and then it seemed as though I had no more work at all. I did little things for Catherine and a little work for Keli, but in the end, I would rate today a ten. At some point though, I found that my computer wouldn't act right. It continuously would freeze and it would not, for the life of me, let me send out or recieve mail. All is well anyhow, I finished all my tasks for today, and thats all for today. Adios!

Today was fast. I didn't do much today because Yesi was out. Linda gave me folders to seperate PDPM and hard dollar in a pile. When I was finished I went and filed them which took me all morning. Lunch came and we went to Louie's, which was a great meal. We went back to Ideal and started to do my homework, since my tutor didn't came because she went to California for a week's vacation. I finshed and Linda had me file some PDPM folders again. My day went great. JP

Today was a busy day, I was told in the morning that we were going to have an important meeting in the conference room and that waters and Ideal Group baggies should be done. It was then that I got introduced to the new intern, Ivette, today was her first day here, I wasn't able to talk to her that much because she had to go through all the new hire paperwork in the morning, we did work together with Amanda, getting the conference room setup. We had our safety meeting today so getting everything setup for the meeting took over my whole morning. I went to lunch with Amanda and after lunch we had our meeting. After the meeting I was assigned a new project. I had to take pictures of posters and upload them. This project took over my afternoon. For next week I have a lot of tasks to do, I will be here two days, so I'm excited to get everything completed! Overall it was a very productive day.

Today was a very busy day, I started out by helping Sean do some invoices then went to help Setech. Setech needed some filing done so I helped them out. Soon after lunch was here and I had a great time. When I came back from lunch I helped Sylvia move somethings and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today started of great by receiving homemade rice crispy treats from my supervisor Amanda. I started off entering contacts. Then I did an inventory for the hospitality closet. After that, I organized the conference room. I continued on entering contacts for Amanda and Sylvia. I went to lunch with Andrea and Amanda. Had a great lunch! After lunch I started on a project that required me to work on an old excel sheet. I just had to make a new column and check mark email addresses that had either opened an e-mail or not. It took a while to complete, but I completed it. I finished my day by creating event folders for Sylvia. Overall I had a very fun and productive day.

Today moved pretty fast. I didn't do much today. Keli and Catherine had given me an assignment that lasted me the whole day and probably most of this Friday too. Luckily, It was surprisingly not boring. Anyways, Keli took me out and I had a nice chat with Frank and Amanda. That was pretty much it for my day today. Hopefully I'll see you all again this Friday.

Today was an okay day. I did get to try some new things from yahyeh and organize something for Catherine and Keli. I didn't help with the mail, but I did do all the filing for Jennifer and Yahyeh. Also, in the morning I received work from Gary, of course. Today moved fairly quickly. So that's all for today, see you Monday!

  Today was a busy day. I started off filing a big stack of papers on alphabetical order and took me all day to finished it. Lunch came and Linda brought food from her house which it was good and I had some leftover pizza from Monday. Then Catherine went upstairs to tell me to go to the marketing room and so I did and they gave me a sheet of paper and I had to make a logo of "I Love Southwest Detroit" and so I finished it and they liked it even thouh I didn't try that hard but if I would of have more time it would have been perfect. Overall, my day went great.   I wanted to talk about the DIA and it was a field trip for Art class. It was awesome! I had the chance to see a real mummy and history about Jesus and some pictures. It was fun and I learned a lot of stuff and how pictures are drawn and how they painted back then. It was a fun day. JP

Today was a very busy day. I had lots to do but I finished all my tasks. I started out by helping Sean enter some invoices into the computer then went to help marketing. I helped Keli make some signs and then went to lunch. I had Subway and it was very good and soon after the mail got here and I had to go back to work. At the end of the day I went back to help marketing. I started designing a "I Heart Southwest Detroit" logo and I kept on being direct and that was my day. Jose Perez

Today was a good day, I started off my day entering contacts for Amanda. I was then assigned to make two check request forms for two events, it took quite a bit because I had carefully put in the correct information on the sheet. I then created event folders, filed them and completed that task. After that Linzie brought me a list of events to put on her calendar. There was quiet a bit of them so it took me until lunch to complete. I had a great lunch with Amanda here in the conference room. She helped me with my anatomy homework. My task for the afternoon was to create an excel sheet for Amanda with Tiger game dates and I looked through my magazine subscriptions. Overall I had a great and productive day.

Today was busy but I didn't have any big projects to do. I started by doing some PDPM folders and hard dollar which took me half the morning. When I was done I started to do filing that Yesi needed me to do, it was kind of exhausting because I walked all day. Lunch came and Yesi, Linda and I went to Roman Village and ate a big pizza which was good. We also meet with Sarah to talk about the park and some other stuff. I came in and since my tutor wasn't coming I had to keep myself busy for a while.Yesi made me do something in Excel and I had to add money and it had to equal the same amount as on the paper. I also can't wait for tomorrow because I'm going to an art museum in Downtown, it will be something new because I've never been there and especialy in the museums. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was fun. I started by doing some folders that Yesi made me do and put them in order. Then I filed some papers and I was done. When I was finishd Keli had me make a list of some posters; it was fun but took me all morning to do them. Lunch came and Linda had some food that she brought from her house which was good! Then Linda made me do some PDPM an hard dollars and filed them. My tutor came and we started doing math and vocabulary words. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was the first day of February and it was a great day I started out by helping Setech file some invoices. After I finished my work for Setch I went to work for Sean and he had me enter some invoices. Then I finished all the invoices I had to enter in the morning and went to lunch were I had a good time in the conference room. Afterwords I sorted and distributed the mail and helped out Setech and that was my day. Jose Perez
