Ideal Group Interns

Today was a pretty busy day. I filed invoices and scanned papers. Sage was downloaded to my computer so I could date waivers of lein. I finished archiving jobs into a spreadsheet and also helped set up for a potluck tomorrow. I enjoyed working today since I have become more comfortable here and I learn many things such as how an office works.

My Weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was a great day. Today I updated Mr. Venegas excel list for Amazon. Later on I helped Pat Wells, and Osmara Zarate to carry the gifts of the family to the car that Ideal Group adopted. Once I was finished adding the reciptes in the Amex sheet I went on to helped Alex Santori with postcards.

Today I started my day with doing some invoices from Steve Snyder that needed to be mailed out. Then the rest of the day I did arou nd three hundred forty scans in total today that needed to be save in the system of the Ideal Shield Company. 

Today I organized boxes of pictures. I separated them by categories of company job, event, and  products. Since Alex is working on a special project for the companies 40 years, I am going through and organizing all the pictures.

As usual, I ordered fruit in the morning. After I finished ordering the fruit I worked on invoices and mailed them out. Today I learned how to wrap presents, I never thought that I was going to learn how to wrap presents at this job. I wrapped the presents for the Fonseca family and after wrapping all the presents I worked on a few more invoices and input receipt information into an excel worksheet. After all that I went around the building passing out phone holders that go on the car air vents. Overall, today was a good and productive day.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was a busy day. I helped Osmara Zarate, and Pat Wells on setting up for two meetings. One of the meetings were for GM, and the other one was Marsh/Chubb. Eric Perez and I greeted the people for each meeting, and lead them to their meetings. After the meetings were over I continued on the Amazon excel list. Later on Abel Gutierrez came and told Pat Wells about the flyers for the Potluck Holiday if we can translate it to Spanish because most of the workers understand Spanish more; I translated the flyer, and then I told Osmara Zarate to check if the flyer was okay to be sent to Alex Santori so that she can decorate the background. I enjoyed translating the flyer in Spanish because it's something that I want to do as a career in the future.

Today I was a productive day here at Ideal. I started my day by mailing some invoices for Steve Snyder. Then they call me to be a guide for a little while for the people that came for the two meetings that where taking place in building A. I had to greet the people that wa s coming and guide them to the right meeting they were here for. At the end I did scans that were around  three hundred twenty scans in total that needed to be file in the system.

Today was a boring but productive day. I ordered fruit as I do every Monday morning and from there I went to Steve for work and he gave me invoices and scans. There were a few invoices and a lot of scans. I got through all the scans without a problem. Overall today was a good day.

Today was a pretty busy day with lots of different work to do. I began my day by doing what I do each week which is file employee folders. Since the cabinet was getting packed and I couldn't put in files anymore I had to move folders to different cabinets to try to have more space. I then created labels for new hired bi-weekly employees so they can have their own files as well. Julie had given me a cart full of files I had to get rid of so I began that in the afternoon. I removed staples and separated the paper and the file folders. I put the papers in the shred box and saved the file folders so they could be reused.

 Today I mostly worked with paper. When I got here I was given the task of voiding drawings that had newer revisions and sorting them into one stack and stapling them. The staple did not go through so I had to split the stack in half and then staple them. Once that was done I printed some drawings and went downstairs where I folded and labeled a different set of drawings for Joe Rodgers. I also scanned some papers for Trevor. I went back upstairs where I was instructed to go over a set of drawings and see how much it would cost to build the materials in the drawings. After that I took my lunch break and after that I filed some invoices. I also worked on a spreadsheet. I feel that I have learned more and strive to gain more experience next week.

My Weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was great. I was told to keep track of Mr. Venegas Amazon orders for work purposes in the excel list; in the excel list I typed down what was returned, gifted, and what was for Holy Redeemer. I followed the instructions to return the sixteen wearable speakers by labeling the bar codes to the Amazon box that is gonna be shipped back to Amazon; then I hand the Amazon box to Steve Snyder so that he could finish the final touches to be sent off. 

Today I started my day by mailing out some invoices for Steve that he told me to do first. Then I did around  three hundred eighty scans that needed to be file in the system with the filing application that I have been using. At the end I helped Alex with mailing something for her.

Today my day was pretty productive and it went pretty fast. As usual I worked on invoices and scans and as every Monday I ordered fruit and distributed it to its three different destinations which are the admins kitchen, shield kitchen and upstairs in contracting.  Today I also worked on an excel worksheet where I had to input family information for the families who are being helped for the Operation   "Holiday Joy"   2019 .   I made this spreadsheet so that people can sign off on things that they are going to donate to the family.

Today, I began my day by making minions with Yumeri. The whole morning we made in total 20 minions with the Ideal Shield Bollards. For lunch we went upstairs for the Movember contest. After I was completely done, I made an excel sheet with addresses.

Today I began my morning creating files for new employees and separated the files where they belonged. In the afternoon I had a quick meeting with Frank Venegas and a few other people. After the meeting I filed away the folders I had created in the morning.

Today was a slow day for me. Like any Monday, I ordered fruit but for this week I only ordered a bit of fruit because everybody at Ideal is just going to work until Wednesday. After ordering fruit I did invoices for Steve and Julie and while I was working on those invoices Frank asked me to set up supplies for the Holy Redeemer library in which he wanted me to take a picture of. When I finished with all of that I started working on scans and those took me all the way to the end of the day. Overall, today was a good day.

 In the morning I combined some files in Revu for Jeff, thumbed through the dates to see the most recent ones, and then filed some invoices. After a pretty long lunch I returned to filing more invoices which took up most of the afternoon. I was then tasked to fill in an excel spreadsheet which I did not finish but will continue tomorrow. I rolled up a stack of drawings for Jeff and went downstairs. Today was a little slower than usual (filing) but I do feel comfortable now in the work environment.

My Weekly Blog  Today was a busy day at Ideal Group. I started off my day by helping Osmara Zarate with the safety chart percenteges, and adding to the meeting minutes; later on I printed the safety chart, and the meeting minutes. I helped Julie Patel with invoices by mailing them out. Later on I helped Ashley Fast with  files which was a small amount of them. Pat Wells ask me to send back an amazon item; once it was placed to send back I printed out the instructions, and handed them to Steve so he could prepare it to be sent. I ask Alex Santori if she needed help on something which she did; Alex told me to label the postcards, and to send them out.

Today was a normal day like the others. I started my day by mailing invoices that where from the Ideal Shield company. Then I did around 370 scans in total that needed to be file in the system for people to look at them later. At the end of the day I helped Alex by mailing some postcards before doing this blog. :)

Today was a pretty boring day but I accomplished two big stack of scans. One of the stacks had about 150 scans and the second scans had about 125 and working with that amount of paper work could be pretty boring but at least I was able to finish them. The second task I worked on was invoices and I sent out two stack of invoices which went by pretty fast. In the morning I ordered fruit as I do every Monday. Overall, today was a busy and productive day.

 The first task given to me this morning was from Jeff. I was forwarded an email that contained an invitation to bid. I created a new job folder for it and went to the site that contained the appropriate .zip file. I then unzipped the file in the previously created folder under the job folder. I also put the job information into a spreadsheet but could not save it since my account was not allowed to. I contacted Awecomm but the problem is still unresolved. After that I folded and labeled drawings for Joe Rogers. At lunch I was offered tamales, hummus, pasta, salad, and other delicious dishes.. I then returned to folding drawings post-lunch. At around 2pm I alphabetically sorted papers for Sylvia. I am content with how today turned out and I am definitely looking forward to returning next week.

Today I began working in mailing invoices that Steve told me to mail those out first. Then he gave me some scans to do until lunch when I finished them. The two last things that I did today was going to contracting to help Julie with putting checks together with their information that I had to staple them together, so they could put them somewhere secure. Also, I took the staples out of the scans, so that next time I can just scan them right away, and do more tasks faster than ever. :)

My Weekly Blog  Today was a tolerble day for me at Ideal Group. In the morning I was ask to hang turkey flyers around the building of Ideal Group. Once I was done with the turkey flyers I went to help Ashley Fast on filing. A lot of the files were so disorgnize that it was hard to find some of the folders; so I organize many of the files back to alpabetical order so it can make it easier for workers to find.

Today, I worked with Yumeri the whole morning. We continued to make booklets and laminate posters. In the afternoon, I sent out mailers and invoices. Then, I sorted through old company pictures. Overall, today my day went by pretty fast because I learned new things as I sorted through the pictures.

 When I arrived I was taken to Building B to help finish the packaging  for some parts. Then I went back to Building A to fold and label drawings. I also scanned some papers for Trevor. It was a tiring day but I got to see more of Ideal Group and some of the hardworking people in Building B. I learned to be careful around paper (I received a paper cut) and how boxes are packaged in large quantity.

My weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was great. I did some changes on the intern board. Finally after two or three months I put Jose Mendez's picture on the board. Then I moved the college interns pictures with the dcr interns so that there wasn't a big gap of nothing in the middle of the board. Once I was done with the intern board I helped Julie Patel with mailing. Later on I helped Ashley Fast with filing; which was a lot. Osmara Zarate asked me to do a flyer for Thanksgiving turkeys which was fun to do.  

Today was a busy day for me. I started my day by doing some scans that were like   two two hundred that needed to be filed in the system. Then Steve Snyder gave me some invoices that I had to put them into envelopes and to mail them out. Later, he gave me more scans to do and in total I did around  four hundred forty four scans today. I am so proud. :) 

Today was a pretty bust day. I worked with Yumeri to make booklets and laminate posters. I then labeled and mailed invoices and booklets. I also helped Steve input order numbers onto an excel sheet, and lastly sent out more mailers. Overall today went by pretty quick, because I was working with another person in the morning.

Today was a pretty busy day for me. Today I couldn't find work in the morning because someone else was filing papers upstairs in contracting and I couldn't find Steve. I finally found Steve and that when he gave me scans and invoices to work on. I popped the "Jelly Beans" which were the balloons in Osmara, Pat, and Sylvia's costumes for Halloween. I also worked on a spread sheet for Steve where I had to put the tracking numbers for the companies and at the end I separated checks for Julie and stapled them to a scrap piece of paper. Overall, today was a pretty good and productive day.

 When I arrived I was tasked with calling Awecomm to resolve a problem where I could not connect to one of the printers. After that was resolved I mostly worked on a project in which I created folders and imported PDFs into them. I also printed out drawings for Jeff and learned how to use Revu to make multiple PDFs into a single PDF. My day was pretty good and I look forward to coming back next week.

My Weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was very busy. I started on a excel list that I left off last week which was the Local8nearme.com; which I finish. Next thing I did was helping Osmara Zarate, and Pat Wells with their Halloween costumes. After the Halloween costumes I helped Pat Wells on the purchasing items list; just to make sure that whatever they bought was in the excel list. Next thing I did was helping Osmara  Zarate with the Emergency Plan; by just placing them on the wall. Later on when I was finish helping Osmara Zarate Alex Santori told me to hang posters on the walls where everyone can see them.  

Today I worked on filling out a Excel list that was about the Meijer parking lot rollout schedule. I only had to add the tracking number for each of the stores in the states of Michigan and Ohio. I mailed out some invoices from Steve that I had to do while he was trying to get me something else to work on. Then at the end of the day, I did like two hundred scans that needed to be file in the system.

Today, I worked on going through photos and organizing them by category. I also made an excel list with the names of things that were on Frank's desk. For the items on his desk, I made labels, wrapped, and placed them in a box. Overall my day went by fast and easy because I just had to organize things.

Today I created folders to file new employee paperwork as well as look for rehired employees folders. I also filed other papers like garnishments and bi-weekly employees paperwork as well.

Today was a good yet boring day. As soon as I got here I was given receipts to input into the group amex folder, as soon as I finished with that I ordered fruit. When I finished ordering fruit I went upstairs to contracting to file papers that Ashley had for me. I had a lot of papers and folders to file that I thought I was never going to end. At the end I finally finished and went to ask Steve if he had any work and so he gave me invoices which took me right into lunch. After I came back from lunch I finished mailing out the invoices. Then Teresa gave me invoices to open which took me to the end of the day. Overall I accomplished many work tasks today.

 The first task I was given when I arrived this morning was to add support beams to a drawing. This helped me familiarize myself with Bluebeam Revu which provided me with precise measurements. I later printed out papers for an employee and labeled drawings for him. After lunch (ham and cheese sandwich) I scanned papers for another employee and  got to insert files into X Drive. I look forward to coming in to work tomorrow and expanding my comfortability in the workplace. I also look forward to assisting people tomorrow in their work and in the process learn more.

My Weekly Blog  My day at Ideal Group was amazing. Today I went with Osmara Zarate to Holy Redeemer to give a tour to the RSM group; which turned out great. I helped Pat Wells, Osmara Zarate, Eric Perez, and Linda Rhodes by helping them set up the animal boards for the Halloween event. Once we were all done with the animal boards I continued on a excel list from last week.

Today I worked on mailing invoices from the Ideal Shield company. I did over two hundred scans that needed to be file in for Steve Snyder. I also finished an Excel list for Alex from last week. Then I did mailers for Alex too. Another thing that I did today is that I went to building C to help set up some stuff for the Halloween event that is going to happen soon. 

Today, I mostly worked on an archive project. I first made an excel list of all the awards that the company has received. I bubble wrapped, packaged,  labeled, and placed the awards into a specific box. I also sent mailers out, but overall, today my day was easy. .

Today was a slow day for me where the only thing I did was file and replace employee paperwork and also created files for new employees.

Today as soon as I arrived to work I ordered fruit. When I finished ordering fruit I went upstairs to contracting and they gave me filing work. After I came back downstairs to the admins office I went to ask Steve if he had some invoices or scans for me to do and so he gave me invoices. After I came back from lunch I went back to Steve for more work and he gave me scans which took me to the end of the day. Overall, today was a pretty productive day.

Eric Perez Today I mailed invoices and I did two Excel list one that was a food company and the other one was a gas company in the United States. Then I gave out the newsletter to the people in the Ideal Shield area. 

My weekly Blog  Today at Ideal Group was an amazing day. Today I finished the Security Awareness Training; which I am so happy, and so proud of myself. Later on I went to help Ashley Fast with filing, I managed to get a lot of the filing done.  

When I arrived I was given the task of printing out drawings. The printer that I had to print to was not connected to my Dell laptop so I had to call Awecomm. Once I was connected to the printer it turned out those drawings had been printed already and so I was shown how to operate Kip Print. After lunch I added phone numbers to one of the machines and folded drawings. I feel more confident in my abilities in the workplace and just more comfortable in general.

      Today I only worked on a few things. In the morning I created folders for new employees and also looked for rehired employees folders. Then Linda asked if i wanted to help her decorate the office with fall decor and I was more than happy to. In the afternoon I filed papers and also separated different papers.

Today in the morning I ordered fruit spersed it out into the baskets. Once I fished spersing the fruit out I took the basket down to the kitchen and sent the rest of the fruit upstairs. For the majority of the day I worked on scans and sent out invoices. Today was a pretty good and productive day.

Today I started working on an excel list, made labels, and sent out mailers. I went upstairs to file some papers. After, I organized a drawer and created folders/labels. Overall today was a good day.

When I arrived today I was given the task of creating an Excel spreadsheet of companies an employee had bid to. I also folded many drawings before and after lunch. Today was a little slow but I definitely gained more experience and confidence in the workplace.

Today I just did two things that keep me busy all day. I began my day with mailing out invoices for Steven Snyder, and doing 365 scans that needed to be in a save file. I also talked with Mr. Venegas today and he gave me a challenge that is to built something and figure out what it does and bring it back to him when its done.

Today I worked on mailers and archives. First I created mailing lists and labels for three different companies. I sent out the mailers and then, started on the archive project. For the archive project, I went through boxes of papers and organized them by category. Once they were organized, I made labels and folders for those items. As I was working on the archive project I learned more things about the company. Overall, today was a productive day.

Today was a pretty busy day. Today I mainly worked with Steve because I worked on mailing out invoices and scans. Today I learned that there is a new and "easier" way to do the scans but honestly I personally don't like it because it is very slow to process the paper work but less steps and the old way was faster but more steps to it. But besides working on paper work I ordered fruit in the morning and after I finished ordering fruit I went upstairs to help out Ashley file papers. As I finished filing papers I was told to print out flyers for the Lion King Halloween which is in need of volunteers and bags of candy and put them around the building. Overall, today was a productive day.

Today I only Worked on one thing which was go over the PM projects to see if the numbers were correct. I asked Linda a couple questions just to make sure what was being shown on the computer is what had to be there. Overall, today's workday was simple.

Today was an easy way to end off the week. I began by creating new folders for employees and also creating labels for the folders as well. I then filed paperwork the rest of the morning. In the afternoon I filed a few more paperwork and the rest of the day helped Jim print out some paperwork.

Today was a pretty busy day. I worked on inputting receipts into an excel worksheet, translated the system emergency messages into Spanish, made a flyer asking for volunteers for the Lion King Halloween and also asking for Candy Bag donations, ordered food on shipt from Meijer's and printed out 100 sheets of paper for Osmara. I was told to go upstairs to help Ashley file some papers. Overall today was a good and productive day.

Today I mostly worked with drawings. In the morning I learned how to fold drawings and then was given the task of folding them. At lunch I received some tasty pasta and breadsticks. After lunch I became more familiar with Fabsuite and observed how RFIs (request for information) were handled. Today I felt like I learned more and have become much more familiar with my work.

My Weekly Blog Today at Ideal Group was great!. Today I helped out  labaling postcards, and scaning them for Ideal Shield. Once I had finish the postcards I helped Pat Wells, and Osmara Zarate; by checking off Frank Venegas, and Sylvia Gucken receipts. Later on I helped Asheley Fast with some of the files. After I helped Asheley Fast with the envelopes I helped Rosie Nunez, and Jasmine on placing the papers and envelopes on the machine in order to fold.  

Today I got to work on an mailing list on excel. Once I finished, I created labels/mailers. I got to mail most of them today, but I did not get to finish because the excel sheet was over 1000 rows long. Overall today was a good day.

Today inputted safety percent's for the Ideal Ideal and Steel production safety walk inspection form and after that I ordered fruit. Osmara and I went downtown to pick up some food that she struggled to order then I was sent to help Ashley file some papers. Overall today was a fine day.

Today I only worked on two assignments, which was putting in numbers for PM projects and make folders for new employees. In the morning I continued to work on the PM projects Linda had assigned me, I have been working on it for a while and I was finally able to finish it today. In the afternoon I created folders for new employees so their paperwork could be filed.

 Today when I arrived I was given the task of sorting out business cards into a binder. When I finished that I filed papers and typed in information from stapled papers into a spreadsheet. I then went to lunch and after lunch I created a spreadsheet from receipts. I gained a lot experience today and am pretty happy with my day.

Eric Perez Today I began my day by mailing some invoices that Steve Snyder needed to be mailed out first. I also did a lot scans before and after lunch. In the end I had to cut in half some sheets that were for the instructions of the bumper installations. 

Today was a pretty normal day. First, I worked on creating mailer list, mailing invoices, and printing labels. Later in the afternoon, Osmara and I went on a adventure to get smoothies for Loren. After, I helped set up for meetings and continued on the excel list.Overall today was a pretty good day!

Today was a pretty relaxed day. In the morning I input receipts into an excel worksheet that keeps track of what has been purchased and by who, I ordered fruit and as soon as it arrived I equally spreaded the fruit out into three baskets, I was also in Frank's office hearing all his stories and receiving advice, and for the majority of the day I was working on the three essays for the Ric Gonzalez Memorial Scholarship.

Today I took part in GM care week. I first went to Cristo Rey High School to help dig a 6 inch deep ditch. I worked on that until lunch at 11. Lunch took place in Building C where I also gave a small speech to the workers. After lunch I was taken to another location where I, along with other workers, cleaned up the sidewalk. Towards the end of the day I was taken to Building C where I helped unload equipment and then I went back to Building A to grab my stuff. Today can be summed up as making my back hurt a lot.

My Weekly Blog  Today was a great day at Ideal Group. I started out my day by meeting some GM , and Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision workers . Pat Wells, Eric Perez, and I went to the police station to paint the walls along side with three Ideal workers who were in Contracting Safety . We all started to take all the tape off the wall because the paint had already dried up since yesterday; so once we had taken down the tape we painted over a wall. Eric Perez, and I  had never painted before,so we got taught by some Ideal workers, and officers. Once we finish painting the wall we went to another room and painted the three walls which we did not finish because it needs another paint layer.

Today was a pretty busy day because of GM Cares Week. My project was at Holy Redeemer and Cristo Rey. We  planted plants, weeded gardens, and fixed pathways. Most of the time I helped where ever they needed help. But overall made sure everyone had water.

As soon as we arrived, we immediately changed and went down to Building C. Today I really enjoyed my day because me and Emily were leaders for the group that was going to work on the Scarcyny Park. Some weeds gave us some hard time because they didn't want to come out and so I dislike garden work. For most of the day we took out weeds from the walk pathways, we didn't finish but we accomplished a lot. Overall, today I enjoyed my day out of the office and enjoyed it out in nature.

Today was a really busy day for me since I was outside all day. Since it is GM cares week I was out at scarcyny park leading groups of adults. Most of the morning was weeding and also cleaning up around the park for any garbage that was there. The weeding was mostly in the gravel pathways, which we did not get to finish today but will hopefully get to by the end of the week. In the afternoon, the Mulch arrived and we started laying it around the bushes surrounding the park. Overall there was lots of hard work done in the park and hopefully in the end of the week it will have been improved even more.

Today I started working on finishing the excel list from Tuesday. I made sponsor posters, took a picture for the interns board, and mailed mailers. Overall my day was pretty good, because I seen my picture is going to be in the Detroiter Magazine!

Jose Mendez  When I arrived I was given a stack of business cards to sort out alphabetically and then scan. After that I sent photos via email to an employee for marketing. I also scanned papers, prepare mail for shipping, and added up how many hours a job would take. I got more work this week than last but it was still very enjoyable. I also got some popcorn and got to see more. Overall today was a positive experience for me.

Today I worked on an excel list. For that, I had to google search each item. So, I didn't get to complete a long list, as I usually do. I did complete as much as I could, while helping Admin with the door. Overall, today went by pretty fast.

Today I worked on sending out invoices, summing up checks on excel, I placed an order for fruit, put the fruit in it's designated location, filed 2015 papers, and joined Dennis at lunch for his 20th anniversary. Overall today was a pretty good day.

Today was my first day back to Ideal Group. This year I get to work in the admins office with Osmara, Pat, and Sylvia and well I'm sure I'll learn new things from them. Today I worked on filing safety meeting papers, I filed purchase receipts onto an excel worksheet, I went on an adventure with Osmara to Honey Bee's Market to get some groceries for Carlos Venegas, and then I was told by Sylvia to help her separate and put all her papers in different piles so that she can throw away the unnecessary papers. Overall my first day was pretty good.

Today was my first day as a senior working at ideal contracting. I was given something new to work on from Linda which is what I worked on all day. She taught me in vista how to put in numbers for a specific category for PM projects. I got the hang of it quick so I continued working on it all day, while also asking Linda any questions if I was confused on something. Overall today was a good day to end the week.

Me  Today I worked in Ideal Steel. The first thing I was tasked to do was sort out a pile of papers and then put them in folders. After that an employee showed me the lengthy process of proposing a bid to a company. After a 30 minute lunch I had the opportunity to see how to work the printer and scan papers. The next thing I did was trim and roll up 6 large diagrams which had been recently printed. I also got to meet many wonderful people today and overall it was a positively eventful day. 

My Weekly Blog Today was a pretty good first day at Ideal Group. On my first day of work I was told to wipe the intern board and replace them with new interns; so what I did was I printed out their names, placement, and their workday. The next thing that I learn from Mr. Venegas, and Jesse Venegas was about underwear; that you can use underwear for four days by reversing the same pair underwear, it was a joke and I thought it was hilarious. Jesse also taught me how to say "always wear underwear" in Latin, I will be teaching my teacher tomorrow. I'm glad to be back.

Eric Perez Today was my first day of work in here. I began my day with doing some scans for Steve with the new app for filing that makes it more easy and faster than before. After that I helped to complete a Excel list that contained the thirty-four Target locations that needed the tracking number for each one of them. Then after lunch I mailed invoices and put together checks and other documents with the same information with each other.

Today was my first school work day of my Junior year! I started my day by finishing scans. Then stuffed, labeled, and sent out Ideal Shield mailers to different sports teams. I also had the opportunity to be in an interview with Frank for the Detroiter Magazine. We went outside to show them the gardens and took lots of pictures. Overall, today I had an enjoyable first day!

My Last Blog 😢😭 Today was a great and a sad day. Today I started mailing out postcards. Once I was finished mailing postcards, I mailed folders that were sent to other companies; and then I continued on a excel list which was for Tyson. I didn't finish the Tyson list which I'm really sad but I blame Marco, no I don't but he gave me a lot of good tips ,and told me about the work he did for Ideal. Well now we came to the end of the blog which is my last blog, and last day of work. I am so grateful for having this opportunity to work with Ideal, and learning from others on what they do for Ideal it's really amazing, Thank you.    

Eric Perez  Today I finished some scans that needed to be done first.  I worked on mailing invoices for Steve. Then I was taking care of the door and I did a lot of extra scans.  Also today was my last day of working here this year as a freshmen and I'm proud of working here, it was such a wonderful experience to work with people from the Ideal Group. Having Osmara as my supervisor it was a big honor for me because with her I learned stuff that I did not even know about and I am very grateful for having her. I hope that in the fall when I come back to school and to work here that I will give my best potential to this company and for the people around me. 

Today I worked inputting receipts on an excel sheet. I put up flyers all over the building. I also looked for old pictures, so they could be placed into a safe box. Overall, most of the day I worked on a mailing list for Alex.

My Weekly Blog Today I continued on an excel list which was for Tyson. But then Alex Santori told me to do a safety incentive, where I had to draw and write why you need to be safe on your way home. Once I had finished the Safety Incentive I went to meet my teachers from Holy Redeemer. Me and Eric Perez where asked questions in front of the teachers on what we did learn from Holy Redeemer and Cristo Rey. Once we were done talking, I went back to continue on the excel list which I wasn't able to finish but I'm half way there and hope to finish it next week since it's my last day of work.

Eric Perez  Today I worked on mailing invoices for Steve. I did some scans that were to be in the same sales order number. Also I helped to set up the food for the meeting for Ms. Kiley and later I went to clean up after the meeting finished. Today was one of the best days in Ideal because I was able to see all my middle school teachers that I interacted with every day and miss every day. The reason is that they all helped me to remember something that I forgot, that is English, and they are the reason that I entered to Cristo Rey, came to work in this awesome job, and  writing this blog.  I am very grateful for this moment.

Today I started on organizing the invoices for the month of May. I then filed invoices for Sylvia, and helped Alex make presentation booklets. Lastly I helped prepare things for a meeting with Ford. Overall my day went by quick.

     Today was a normal day for me and only really did two things. I mostly filed all day but also had to create new folders for employees that were new. I also had to move some folders that were in the terminated cabinet and moved it into the current employee cabinet. 

Today I started of my day by working on invoices. When I finished mailing out the invoices, I started working on scans. After I finished working on the scans, Steve gave me flier what was about making a drawing about safety bringing you home. I ended my day with the drawing. Overall, today was a good day.

My Weekly Blog Today I started  on finishing the safety incentive flyers from last week,which I manage to finish it all today. Once I was finish with the flyers I did some mailers which were to keep facility's safe. I later on did an excel list that I have been working on since the past two weeks which today I didn't finished it all but hope to finish it soon.

Eric Perez Today I worked only on 3 things. First I worked on scans for Steve that they were to be in the same sales order number. Later I mailed some invoices.  At the end of the day, I did scans all day but I was also taking care of the door.

I started my day off by organizing pictures and thank you notes. I put them in folders, so they could go neatly into new plastic boxes. I filed invoices for Sylvia, and then mailed invoices for Steve. Later, I learned how to post community events on the company's Facebook page. I also took care of the door, while I updated the 2019 GDYT Manuel. Overall my day went by pretty fast.

Eric Perez Today I worked on mailing invoices for Steve. I went to put flyers about up coming events around building A and B. Then after lunch I went to help Steve to do some scans and making sure that all of them had sales order numbers.  At the end of the day I helped Osmara with placing the papers in date order and to highlight the date and the total amount of money that they had. Also I am very happy that I took care of the front door.    

Today was a good day. I started my day off  by filing for Sylvia, and began making the Ideal Shield  Bollard Covers to look like minions. Then throughout the day, I had Holy Redeemer 8th graders job shadowing. So I took them on a tour, talked to them about the company, and had them work on small tasks. I had them send out, label, and organized the mailers. I also had them help finish decorating the minions. Overall today went by fast.

Today I started off my day by mailing out invoices. After I finished mailing out the invoices I worked on scans and I finished off my day with scans. Today was a good and productive day because I finished with everything I was given to do.

MY Weekly Blog  Today was a good day at work. I started on three excel list which two of them were about the bi-mart and the other one was Burris Logistics which were the two websites I had finished. The other one was Tyson foods, which let me tell you it was hard finding the addresses until later on I discovered how to find them faster. But at the end I couldn't finish it all but hope to finish it soon since I know how to find them faster.

Eric Perez   Today the first thing that  I worked on is mailing invoices for Steve. Then I went to Alex to help her making fifty folders with papers that had to be in a specific order that she told me to do. Also I made postcards for Alex while waiting for her to bring me more papers that I run out for the folders. The rest of the day I worked on a excel list for all the companies of King Soopers in the United States. 

Since I work in accounting, I have done lots of filing recently. Today the only think I worked on was filing, so it was a pretty slow day.

Today I started my day by completing the KnowBe4 security training. This training took me longer than it should have because the computer was acting up but at least I was able to finish it. After I finished the training Steve gave me invoices to mail out and after I finished all of the invoices Steve gave me scans to work on which took me the rest of the day. Overall, today was a good day.

My Weekly Blog Today was an easy day. Today I started on labeling postcards, and left them aside because I was told that Holy Redeemer student's would come to Ideal to take a look around and to work so what I did is to leave some postcards aside so they can learn what I do with the postcards and where they go. Once me and Eric Perez finished with the tour, Eric took two students and I took one student.So I show the student who's name is Silvia what I did in marketing, she was surprised on what I do for the company.Then Eric and I did the same thing over again with the second group only that I got two students this time and Eric got one student. I explain to Diego and, ugh I forgot her name it's starts with a D but we had a blast doing the excel work because they didn't knew how to copy and paste but taught them new things which they liked. Overall my day was great.

          Eric Perez       Today I began my day by going upstairs and working in filing papers in the same folder that had the same name of the company. Then I had to come downstairs and wait for the Holy Redeemer students to come. Later Daniel and I had to take them to a tour to all the buildings.We show them everything we know about our experience at The Ideal Group, what do we work on, and how can Ideal Group can help you and how can you use this knowledge to help others. After lunch, another group of students came and we did the same thing. I had one student in the second group. We worked mailing invoices and I teach him how to look for stuff by looking the invoice number and the company.  Overall it was a good day because they were students that I meet before, so we had more interaction with each other.

Today I started my day by helping Osmara input invoices in an Excel sheet. I put up flyers for a community event this weekend. I then continued on what I had been working on last week, organizing Frank's archives. While I was working Joaquin came in with Frank and had a magazine.  The magazine was from University of Detroit Mercy and featured me and some of my teammates, which was pretty cool. Overall today was a pretty good day.

Today was a pretty busy day. I started off my day with some scans that I didn't finish last Tuesday and then Tera sent me more scans to work on. Then I started to work on Invoices because there were many. After I finished the invoices I started to work on the scans again because there are lots of scans. Overall, today was alright.

My Weekly Blog Today was a easy day and a fast day. Today I did three excel list's, and helped Steve Snyder with  scans which I liked doing so much, hope I do some next time. Also, Alex Santori told me to continue on an excel list which I have been working on from the past few weeks. In the end, I couldn't finish it because it's the biggest list I've done for the past weeks. I hope to finish it soon. 

              Eric Perez     Today was a normal day of work. I began working on making fifty folders that had to have papers in a specific order in each of the three parts that the folder have. Then I made an excel list of all the DriveTime companies that were around the United States for Alex. Later on, I went to help Steve to mail some invoices for him. Also, I did some scans and file them in a folder that need it to have the same sales order number if they match. At the end of the day I went to help Steel to do some scanning as well, but I had to rename them with their same load number, and then I had to email them back. Overall is good to be back working. 

Today was slower than usual. I started by putting up flyers around the building. I completed a course on security awareness. Then for the rest of the afternoon I went through Frank's archives and organized them. Overall today I went through a lot on the last project I worked on.

Today was a slow day at work. I first filed a few paper work and then looked into the terminated I-9 files and had to take a lot of peoples paper out so I can put it in the current I-9 cabinet. This took all day since there was lots of papers to go through.

Today I had a pretty busy day. I started off my day by working on scans that I didn't finish last Tuesday and then Steve gave me some invoices to do before lunch. After lunch I mailed out the invoices and Tera gave me more scans to work on. I finished me day by doing most of Tera's scans. Overall, today was a good and productive day.

My Weekly Blog Today and yesterday were a great day. Today I continued on five different postcards that I  didn't finished yesterday. With the help of my classmate Eric Perez, we finished it all fast and mailed them.Once we were done we went with Alex Santori in building B to take out  papers that were about facilities and covers etc. We stacked the papers in two different piles. One had the phone number of ideal and the other did not have Ideal's number.Once we had done stacking the papers, we headed  back to the building and then I continued an excel list where Iizabeth left off which I finished at the end. Next I put more postcards which later on I mailed them. I put more funds to the mailing machine. Once I was done with all of the mailings, I did an excel list which was for REI coop which I didn't finish but hope to finish it next week.

    Eric Perez     Today I went to help Steve to do some scans, and I mailed invoices. Then I helped my classmate Daniel Hernandez with mailing some postcards. After that I went with to building B with Daniel and Alex to move papers and stuff to another place that look more nicer. After lunch I did more scans with Steve and when I was finished with that I went to help Alex again to putt papers in the order that she told me to put it in folders.  

Today I filed invoices, made labels, and put up flyers around the A building. Osmara, Pat, and I then headed over to building B to clean up the old Ideal offices. Once we came back, the Admin office had lunch together to celebrate Admin Day. Lastly, I mailed out invoices and put up more flyers.Overall my day went by fast.

Today like usual I started off by working on Invoices and mailed them out after I finished mailing the invoices Steve gave me scans to work on and Tera also gave me scans to work on after I finished with Steve's work. Today I also went to go cut some flowers with Steve from the Scarcyny garden. Overall today was a good day.
