Ideal Group Interns

Today was a good day I helped out Sean by working on his invoices. Then I went to mail something that needed to be mailed and after went back to work. Soon lunch time came and it went well because I got free food and I was full. After lunch I went back to helping Sean and that was my day.  MERRY CHRISTMAS! Jose Perez

Today was just something else. I started off my day working on safety meeting things. It turned out that the meeting had to be re-sheduled because of so many conferences that were going to go on. After re-scheduleing I still continued to work on meetng things. Virginia asked me to decorate the Christmas tree for her, and I did, it was lots of fun. I went to lunch with Amanda and Hilary, it was a great lunch! After lunch I put fruit away from the meeting earlier and I tried setting up the color scanner. It didn't work out. Then I made a charge card authorization card and when I noticed it was time to go. Overall my day was great. See you next year!

Today was good but I didnt do much today. I came in and started off by doing new hired folders for Yesi; it didnt take me long. When I was done I started to do I-9 forms and put them in order on big folders which took me all morning. Lunch came so I went to the Roman Village with Yesi and Linda to meet some ladies, we had a good conversation and they asked me how Cristo Rey works and if I liked it and of course I said yes. We were done eating so we headed out to Ideal and continued to do the big folders.Overall, my day was good. JP

Working at Ideal takes a lot of energy. It's worse than school because you actually have to stay alert and pay attention through the whole entire day and you have to get most of your work done before the day ends without play. But I came here for a purpose and so sometimes you have to do what you got to do. Today I did a few new things such as the mail, which isn't new to me, but I did it by myself. I got through a lot of it but when Edna got back she still had a little to do too. Also, Gary had a new task for me which was to enter data into MAS, and it was easy once I got into it but the computer was acting up a  little. I, for Sylvia, made sure the dishes were washed inside the dishwasher and then put them up after it was done. I wrapped some gifts this morning too, although there was only two to wrap. Today was great. My tutor came and helped me do my homework like always, then we reviewed some vocabulary words that I need to study and make into sentences. When she was gone I started doing PDPM's and hard dollarfolders, it took me all morning to do. I went to lunch and had a good Torta with Yesi, Linda and Glenn. Glenn ate too much burrito which affected how he felt afterwards.We came back and started to mail some papers. When I came downstairs I saw Edna doing the mail which they never called me to help with but I did help a little. When I finshed they needed me to wrap some toys and clothes they bought from the store which was fun with Amanda and Sarah. It was an effective way to spend my day. Overall, my day went great. JP

Today was a simple day I started out by checking my email to see if I had anything important to do. After I went to see if Sean needed my help, which he did. I worked on matching invoices for the rest of the morning. Then Kelly and Edna had some invoices that need to be mailed and I was happy to help so I finished mailing them and went to lunch. Today was an ordinary day. I started out by helping Sean with his regular work and did a file cheack. After I went to lunch were I had a good time by myself just listening to music. Today was kind of a slow day for me. I came in while Keli was in her usual Friday  meeting and received some work from Gary. After I finished that, Keli came and gave me more work that pretty much lasted me the whole day. This assignment consisted of me looking up these certain words or phrases and see what we rank on Google.com. This task was new to me but once I started it, it went by pretty quickly although I didn't get to finish because there were 500 of them to get done but I got pretty far in. In between working on this, I went to lunch with Keli and had a large sandwich called the Jerk from a place called Mudgies. Weird right? But it tasted great so I won't complain. After lunch I continued my task from this morning until I was called to help with the mail. When that was finished I went back to my task and before my day was done, I managed to get up to 329 on this assignment of mine. Today was a good day. I started helping Linda with checks, 10 minutes later my tutor showed up. She helped me do my Chemistry homework and showed me how to do the problems. It was a good thing she helped me because she show me how to do some shortcuts on my chemistry homework which was awesome! Then she gave me some homework so I can practice. After that she checked my plannerto see if I wrote my homework in it. She left and I went helped Yesi by making some new hired employee folders. Lunch came and I had a good meal. After that I went with Edna to do the mail like always, there wasn't much mail so we finished it fast. Then I went with Frank in the shop where he was showing visitors what the company makes, it was fun. Then I started to do the big folders that I was doing last week it took me the whole day. Today was an ok day it was pertty quite I started out by helping Sean match POs to invoices all morning. Kelly and Ednahad need help to  mail some envelopes so I had so focus on that for a while. After finishing the mail I went back to work then after went to lunch. At lunch I had a nice quiet time because not that many people were here. Today was quite an eventful day. It started off slow though where I just did my usual for Gary. Then today I finsished off the CD case and did the inventory at the same time so it didnt take as long and it wasn't as boring. It's really ironic because before lunch, my work load was really light. Then after lunch, I hear people calling my name asking for me to do all types of things when I really only agreed to one or two. :-) The perks of being an intern is you get to do all the work no one else wants. But besides that, Frank came in and congradulated me on my good grades this quarter, and he said I might be getting an iPad! Hard work pays off for sure. Anyhow, I helped Edna with the mail and filed. By far my most exciting day here at Ideal!

Today was a good and productive day, I feel as if we have accomplished a lot. We even got everything off of Frank's desk for Daniel to clean in the morning. In the morning, I checked my e-mail and had a couple of task to do for Sylvia. I also had to make an event folder that Amanda had asked me to do the day before. After I finished that, I made a couple of copies, entered some contacts, and scanned a couple of letters. I helped Edna with the mail after lunch, then started working on this translation cleaning sheet. I haven't finished the excel spreadsheet yet, but I will on Monday. I asked Loren for receipts, he did not have any. As I had mentioned about Frank's desk being cleared off, Sylvia and I had washed some of his items that were on his desk. My day could have gone better.....if I had finished the excel spreadsheet. The reason for that is, I don't like leaving unfinshed work. Well off thill Monday. GoodBye.!

Today was a busy day but it went great. I started by doing checks with Linda, it didn't take me long. My tutor came and started we by doing my homework, after that we practiced algebra as a review and talked about putting my daily homework on the planner so that I don't forget to do it and to be more organized. We also talked about how college was and what you have to do there. Then she left, since she had to go early today. So I went to Yesi and help her do some maling. After that I made new  folders for new hire employment and filed them. It didn't take me that long to finish. Yesi had five big folder full of I-9 forms that had to be organized alphabetically. It was a lot of work. It took me all day, lunch came and I and Linda went to a hamburger place and had a great meal.
